I think once you allow the player to perform more fluid vertical movement, the time gained from each checkpoint can be lower and then you can really feel a sense of rush as you race towards the next checkpoint. As it was I had a stockpile of time. Closing the doors on the tutorial was a great call because I loved that narrative at the beginning and it was a great introduction to the game. |
