I took a look at the source code, since I hadn't seen how PICO-8 games are made before. I noticed there was a quadtree in there !? You had me laughing out loud already at the description at the thought of someone having to maintain the olympic fire for an entire year. That good first impression carried over to the game, where the graphics are good enough to be from an actual published NES game and the music is pleasant as well. |

Something about the combination of the relaxing atmosphere and "sneaky sneaky" sound effects makes this funny too. It's also great how cute and approachable this is as well, I think I'm going to let my 4yo give a try too to see if he likes it :) I gave this the highest points out of all games I've rated so far. |
