| Oct 21 03:45:54 | Singularity | ♥ 1 | Took me several minutes to figure out the controls. But others were raving about the gameplay so I decided to push through and try to figure it out. Once you "get" the controls it's really rather intuitive, but when you're staring at a black screen that doesn't do anything it's really frustrating. That being said, once I figured it out, I really enjoyed the gameplay. The puzzles were interesting, and the UI is actually quite helpful in helping you understand when you've gotten each step correct. I also appreciate the leniency in how close I had to be to have it considered correct. Pretty solid game. With some better on-boarding, it could be quite something. Even so, I've played it longer than any other jam game so far. | |

I was able to finish the game, though it actually took me until level 4 to fully understand how the words and puzzles were related. The puzzles were quite clever, especially in the later half. Even though there was some nice difficulty scaling, I didn't think it fully taught everything (though that may be intentional for a puzzle game of this sort). As others mentioned, obviously more audio would be nice, and I did find the controls (instructions) confusing on keyboard. Overall, I honestly enjoyed playing it, haha, so kudos! |
