| Apr 29 23:20:59 | Nine Lives | ♥ 1 | I think the game has potential. At first I didn't realize that space bar would highlight potential traps, and it would only cost when there was a trap. You should have a note about which keys to use inside the game so that anyone can successfully play it without reading the description on this page. It would have been nice to have a reset/or try again button. I found myself having to refresh the page after running out of lives. It would also be nice if the spikes were in different patterns each time. I found myself memorizing the path so I could advance to further levels. Overall a good entry. I look forward to seeing your future submissions. | |
| Apr 30 06:15:05 | 6h 54m | A Moment To Reflect | ♥ 1 | The graphics are really well done. I hope that you get more time to work on this post jam. The text was a little hard to read, but the pico8 type games doesn't give you much options. What are your future plans for the project? |
| Apr 30 06:28:23 | 13m 18s | This is your life now | ♥ 0 | I liked the choices, but there were some times that I couldn't compare the two options. I wanted to read the second option but by moving forward I went too far and couldn't get back to the first one easily. I didn't quite feel like I was making a choice that led to loosing part of my life, but overall the theme of moving through a life/time was well implemented. I would have liked more options in the 4th stage, but I like the metaphor of the emptiness I did find. I played the HTML version on Itch.io and the music was quite loud. If you decide to add more options in the future I would recommend you add a volume control. Thanks for sharing your game. |
