| May 1 02:17:11 | 5h 27m | Fateshift | ♥ 1 | Nice game! I liked that the gameplay is simple so you can focus on perfecting your timing. The art is great for a jam game, and I liked the sound effects, especially when parrying. It looks like you didn't have time to add information about the items you can buy to the game, so how about posting that information in the description? That part feels kind of pointless without knowing what each option does. By the way, the first time I tried to load the game, it got stuck about 80% of the way, but it loaded fine after I refreshed the page. Not sure what happened exactly but FYI for anyone who experiences that. |
| May 1 04:46:39 | 2h 29m | Arm & A Leg | ♥ 1 | Great idea and really cute art! I appreciated the polish with things like the shopkeeper actually conversing with you and being able to restart from the last shopkeeper when you die - a lot of LD games just focus on the main mechanic so I like that you were able to build up more of a full experience. |
| May 2 20:08:42 | 39h 22m | Dungeon Sweeper | ♥ 1 | I enjoyed this game! Having to move yourself around was engaging compared to normal Minesweeper. I like that you start with extra hearts so that one misstep doesn't kill you. I think it fits with the theme somewhat because if you're stuck, you can trade a heart in for a "hint" (by guessing and seeing if you get blown up.) I agree with the others that I'd like to be able to flag bombs so that there's less mental energy expended remembering which ones I think are bombs. |
| May 2 20:20:14 | 11m 32s | Survive the Heist | ♥ 2 | This is one of my favorite jam games so far! It's rare to see a story-based game like this in a game jam. Some of the art could use some polish but the portraits are great since because they convey a lot of personality. I want to find all the endings... I hope there's one where we can all get a happy ending but I have the feeling that won't be possible. |
| May 2 20:38:59 | 18m 45s | Florp Farming | ♥ 1 | I love the art style! The variety of stuff you can buy was lots of fun. I enjoyed shaking the trees manually rather than just tapping to collect, so if you keep working on it I'd love to see more unique ways for the player to interact with the game (or maybe there were more that I didn't know about) rather than just dragging stuff down to sell. |
| May 17 06:05:54 | 345h 26m | Necromarket | ♥ 1 | Great job! The art is really nice and it's awesome that you have a tutorial and a whole plotline in the game. I found it a bit hard to control and tedious to craft the same things over and over, so in the end I just closed up shop after selling a couple things in order see more of the plot - which I'm glad I did because there was a great ending! (Maybe you're meant to move on more quickly - not sure if the amount of money mattered - but in the beginning I felt like I should help all customers before closing up, which took a long time.) Overall, a very impressive entry. |
