Aug 16 12:33:43 Backpack packer ♥ 0 Simple but fun! The mechanic itself is not too new but turning the annoyance of packing as many items as we can in our inventory into an actual game is a brilliant take on the theme. Like others I wish there was a bit more, like multiple levels, maybe wrapped in a funny story of a guy who starts a career in helping adventurers pack their stuff. Maybe even with unlockable skills like rotating items or convincing the client to sell one useless object... :P If those were just solid color blocks I wouldn't think too much of it, but here it's funny how simply having the right setting & fitting art can inspire plenty of ideas. Nice job :)
Aug 23 15:26:28 170h 52m BIO-EX-DEUS ♥ 1 Very original! It was an interesting toy to play with. I agree with @radical-dog in that it lacks some direction, and giving goals or a scenario would make the game more engaging. Anyway this was easier to pick up than I thought, and I had fun trying to build a world where all my species could live in peace. I like how annoying the humans are :P Clipboard02.jpg
Aug 23 18:36:23 3h 09m Beyond Closed Doors ♥ 1 Simple game but it works fine! At first I didn't expect the game to have any goal, so I simply followed the track and looked around. Then I realized that doors were closing and it was actually a race against the clock! If I were to nitpick, I'd say the car physics were a bit floaty, with steering a bit too sensitive for my taste. I don't remember having the same impressions with Rally, so I wonder if it's just an impression or the physic constants are actually different? Otherwise hitting tyre piles is quite satisfying, and reminds me of Mario Kart somehow. Oh and overall the level looks good! Nice modeling job. I managed a score of 18, but I feel that with some experience 19 is possible!
Aug 23 18:54:01 17m 38s Bullet Farmer ♥ 1 202 seconds! A really charming game that is simple to understand but not that easy to play. What impressed me most is how you managed to produce challenging gameplay out of simple elements: with good balancing of the crop mechanic and especially an interesting movement for the enemies, it all comes together quite well. Until we learn how the slimes jump and behave, it's easy to waste bullets way too early :O The only moment when I find it a little bit less exciting is the endgame, when we're left repeatedly with no bullets left, watching slimes in despair as we wait for fresh bullets to salvage what we can. I find it heartbreaking everytime x) I have no idea how you could fix that though! As usual great graphics, satisfying sound & fitting music. All wrapped in a good amount of polish. Nice job!
Aug 23 19:02:06 8m 05s Quadrofall ♥ 1 An almost-Tetris in 2 hours? Respect! While it's probably not intended, seeing this game play with our expectations is funny. How can a line *not disappear*???!! Impossible!!! The end made me smile as well. I like the tileset very much, apart maybe for the walls that could have been made more distinct (also smaller pixels omg) Theme fits perfectly
Aug 27 10:30:25 87h 28m Universal Vacuum Cleaner ♥ 0 Basket catching games become much better when you set them IN SPACE :D Good one! It takes a while before the game gets really challenging but then it's fun and hectic. I like the art, in particular the black hole.
