The current state the game is in now is a great start and has a lot of potentials. Maybe changing the controls from the arrow keys to the ship following the mouse or at least making the ship a lot less sensitive. There were just a couple things that were annoying such as not being able to figure out how to shoot slime and the level design on your second level. On platformers like this, the player should not be immediately hit by an enemy give the player time to learn the level. I also found myself getting stuck in the columns because my size was too big. Then being able to glitch my way to the top even though I was falling. However, I really like the graphics and mechanics behind the game and feel like with enough polish and time you could really get somewhere with this.
