| Apr 24 01:16:33 | Tinyverse | ♥ 1 | The gameplay is solid, music is good, graphics are pretty good (compared to mine, at least) But there is one problem... After a certain amount of people saved (10 or so), it stops tracking how many people you have saved and puts a blank spot. I rescued 30 give or take, and I really wanted to see the exact number, but alas... P.S. This reminds me a lot of Rick and Morty... | |
| May 2 00:59:01 | 191h 42m | One Push Man | ♥ 1 | This has good graphics, music and fits the theme well, but I found that if you push an enemy against a wall with a weapon, it makes UNGODLY SOUNDS |
| May 2 01:06:22 | 7m 21s | RNG | ♥ 0 | This was good at being bad. *Clap Clap Clap* |
| May 4 12:26:47 | 59h 20m | Rocket Roller Space Polo | ♥ 0 | This was by far the most innovative and fun game I have played on LD so far! |
| May 6 18:09:51 | 53h 43m | Small Town Mines | ♥ 1 | This game was really fun! I really like how much exploration you can fit into such a small world. The animation of the helicopter was hilarious! There was only two things that I disliked about this game. 1. I didn't realize until really late in the game that I could walk up to the fire. It didn't seem accessible, but I do see an attempt on your part to make it more visible with the sloped hill. 2. I really disliked how the people came out and questioned you anyway, even when my suspicion was at -74/100. Juggling between smelting the ores, mining, eating and fishing was quite fun. All in all, you did a good job. P.S. I got 69 Gold. Not intentional, I Swear! |
| May 6 18:57:58 | 48m 07s | planetary billiards | ♥ 0 | Very Innovative and Amazing Graphics, but no audio and no humor. It was also saddening not to have a "Win" screen. ;( Ok Game Overall, fits theme really well. |
| May 11 21:03:13 | 122h 05m | Gold N' Steam | ♥ 1 | I loved the whole concept! It reminded me a lot of a DS game from my childhood with a very similar concept, so extra nostalgia points for you! The graphics were spot-on and I had plenty of fun playing it, but I did run into one measly little problem... I pressed switched an arrow in the middle of my train and everything was ruined. http://i65.tinypic.com/241v47k.png Loved it! |
| May 11 21:29:53 | 26m 40s | Tabletop Arena | ♥ 1 | I really liked this game and loved how the mage and jrpg-ish swordsman felt like their own boss. I found the mage really hard until I figured out the dash & stab technique. I feel like the swordsman was bit too fast at swinging it's sword, causing it to be really hard to beat. The music and graphics were really good, and I loved the semi-easter egg of the newspaper. |
| May 11 23:52:23 | 2h 22m | ATLANTIS | ♥ 2 | The Good: While the graphics were good and the game fit the theme nicely, the audio, mood and storyline were by far the best parts. It is apparent that a lot of thought was put into the story. It was certainly one of the best (If not the best!) games I played for Ludum Dare. The Bad: The only noteworthy issue that I had with the game is that the interact button was messed up. When I hovered over it, it displayed the wrong thing. For example, when I was interacting with one of the towers, it said something along the lines of "Pay 1 mana to activate ancient defenses." This was not only the wrong text, but it costs more than that to activate ancient defenses. It was a minor bug, which didn't take much away from the gameplay, but still a bit annoying. The ~~Ugly~~ Suggestions: I would have liked to see more cards than simply the Tremors and Good Fortune cards. It made the gameplay a bit blander than it could have been. I see this scoring very high and possibly getting in the top 100 LD38 games. The only thing it may score low on is Humor, which I would have recommended you to opt out of. I say this because some people may score you low on humor, and then take the average of all of the scores and put it into overall, possibly bringing your score down. |
| May 12 00:26:01 | 33m 38s | Insufficient Data | ♥ 1 | The ending was amazing. The meta of "shutting down" was amazing. It was really cool and was honestly really meaningful. Extra Brownie Points for Opting out of Humor. The only complaint I have is how high pitched the computer respond sound was. |
| May 12 00:40:46 | 14m 45s | It's a Small World | ♥ 1 | I love the music and sound effects. I also love how much inspiration you took from the Mario Series. If you didn't mean to take inspiration from that series, well, that's quite a few coincidences. Some examples are the characters sprite, the backwards crouch jump and the double jump technique. I wish that you could have more than one life though. Love it! |
| May 12 00:58:51 | 18m 05s | Place Them All | ♥ 1 | Very good game! It took me several tries but I manage to get all 8 tribes to survive (although i'm not sure why I spent so much time trying to save the devil, one would assume that would be the wrong thing to do) very minimalistic, but also good audio and graphics. |
| May 14 02:38:53 | 49h 40m | Every Man's Sky | ♥ 1 | Pro-Categories: Innovation, Theme, Humor Con-Categories; Graphics, Mood, Fun Overall I would say that while it was cool to experience, as well as a bit fun to make my own solar system, it wasn't much of a game. The concept was nice, however, and I enjoyed seeing other people's planets. Kudos to you for making it multiplayer, which must have been hard. |
| May 14 03:20:45 | 41m 52s | Slice of Life | ♥ 1 | Very Good Game! It certainly had a unique style to it. The graphics and audio were amazing, I had a lot of fun playing it, it was no doubt funny and had the right mood. The theme was pretty loose (although I shouldn't be speaking TBH,) and it was not the most innovative game, but still very good overall. I would have liked a bit of a difficulty curve, but I still died a few times. |
| May 14 03:45:15 | 24m 30s | Super Smash Globes | ♥ 1 | Graphics were good, as well as the audio, but it seemed to be lacking in the fun department. Sorry to say it. The final boss was hilarious though. But one thing that was no good was that after he placed the bombs, they never went away, so he died on the next round, as well as them shrouding the view of the endgame. Otherwise, it was an okay game, and it certainly was an amazing theme entry if nothing else. |
| May 14 04:00:43 | 15m 28s | To Valhalla | ♥ 0 | As with others, I felt the boat controls were a bit wonky. I did think however, that this was a game with amazing graphics, audio and quite fun for how short of a game it was. The theme was also fit in a very innovative way, so props for that. |
| May 15 21:27:37 | 41h 26m | The Burrow | ♥ 0 | Good Music, Nice Mood, Interesting play on the Theme, Great graphics and very innovative, but the controls were quite horrid (but only for the worm.) It was good overall, but I would have like to see turning with left and right and going forward with the worm and gravity with the bird. |
