Dec 13 04:10:00 Snow Fort Defence This is pretty good for your first attempt. I like the idea of building a snow fort to defend against oncoming enemies. At first I tried playing without doing much building and didn't have a lot of fun. Then I played it again while trying to make a snow fort and had a much better time. The controls could use some work though. Way too many different actions were bound onto the mouse. It was hard to aim since I had to be moving to shoot, and I kept on accidentally packing snow when in the heat of combat. Binding snow packing and moving to their own keys would make the game a lot easier to control. Just as a general tip, I'd recommend focusing on refining your core gameplay loop before adding extra features. Not being able to die was a bit of a bummer. I'd love to play a version of this with refined controls and a proper failure state. There's definitely a lot of potential to build on here. But, for your first entry, this is a pretty good step. Ludum Dare is a learning process, and you'll only get better from here.

Also, I think I fixed the compatibility issue that was preventing you from playing my game. The Jar file should work just fine, just double click on it like an exe. If it's still not working, please leave another comment on my game's page explaining so.
Dec 13 04:27:00 17m 00s Consume Room I love the concept! It kinda reminds me of that one movie "Monster House." I also like the risk vs reward gameplay. Having the currency be the health and having to spend that currency to boost the rate at which you acquire health is a pretty clever move. The gameplay was simple and a bit repetitive, but I was constantly making strategic decisions about when to buy and how soon I should consume all, which kept me invested. It was a bit annoying that you could die while in the middle of consuming, but that's just about my only gripe. All in all, this was a pretty fun entry.
Dec 13 05:02:00 35m 00s Cozy Christmas Village Wow, this is a very robust city builder given the time constraints. The idea of it being a table top diorama is just adorable, and I love the art. The game started off a bit slow as I had to wait for a while to get enough money for new buildings, but things picked up after the third business or so. I had a lot of fun decorating my little town, and I think the Christmas theme really helps to that end. It was kind of annoying how I couldn't get rid of things once they were placed, but I guess having to build around things like trees adds a certain challenge. Other than that, I don't have much in the way of complaints. This is just a really solid city builder.
Dec 14 02:17:00 21h 15m Furry Heist I really like it! The idea of going through multiple phases of a heist to vary up the gameplay while keeping it in the same room was a good idea. The graphics and audio are both top notch as well. My only real complaint is that it got a bit repetitive, since the combat more or less boiled down to circle strafing. Maybe adding in obstacles like those lasers during combat wold help vary the gameplay up a bit more. Still, I had a blast playing this game.
Dec 14 02:45:00 28m 00s Window Crawler The idea for this game is ingenious! Having the whole dungeon map in front of me in the form of all these different windows was cool. Unfortunately, the game was too difficult up front. Despite trying quite a few times, I never got past the first three or four rooms. I did get the shield eventually, which gave me some feeling of accomplishment. Despite the difficulty, I had a pretty good time with this game. It would be cool to see a fully realized version of this game one day. Great job!
Dec 14 03:26:00 41m 00s Sneaking and Squeaking This is a very well realized first person platformer. It was fun to explore the large room and the story and visuals were charming. Adding extra collectibles and bonus content was also a nice touch. Excellent job!
Dec 14 04:58:00 1h 32m Protect Your PS4!! This was a really fun game! The theme was super charming and the frantic gameplay kept me on my toes. I loved using myself as a human shield when all else failed. Also, letting the player accidentally smash their own PS4 is pure evil. Great job!
Dec 15 03:55:00 22h 57m Super Boss Room The idea of being a boss of your own dungeon is always kinda cool. It's neat how you incorporated MOBA style abilities into the game. My biggest gripe has got to be how close to the edge of the screen you have to get for the camera to pan. Really hard to see enemies coming that way. Still, this is a good effort.
Dec 15 04:05:00 10m 00s Giiver's Hop As Q*bert goes, this is some pretty good Q*bert. It's very visually polished and has some great audio. Everything was very self explanatory except for those skulls which looked like some sort of button at first. Also, being sent back to the first level with every death was a bit of a bummer. Still, this is a very solid entry.
Dec 17 03:21:00 47h 16m HellBlocks Short and sweet. This is a simple concept well executed. The visuals are simple, but that goes with the simple gameplay. The music is also killer. Great entry!
