| Apr 18 04:58:00 | WolfBit | Thanks Rafa! Glad you enjoyed it :) | |
| Apr 19 03:53:00 | 22h 55m | A Dim Light To A Cursed Night | Hey! Interesting idea. However, is there a way to keep the lights on for more time? They seem to vanish spontaneously after some time, even without monsters touching them?

Also, our game entries have some cool similarities: if you are interested, you can check WolfBit at
http://ludumdare.com/compo/ludum-dare-35/?action=preview&uid=87729
Our team would love to hear your thoughts on it. |
| Apr 19 04:18:00 | 25m 00s | Shifto | Man! What an interesting concept! The controls need some improvement, but the idea has a lot of potential, and it was very fun to play.

Also, if you are interested, take a look our our game, WolfBit.
http://ludumdare.com/compo/ludum-dare-35/?action=preview&uid=87729 |
| Apr 19 17:30:00 | 13h 12m | Side Effects | Man, that's really fun! I loved the tone of the game, the references and humor are top-notch. Pretty neat way to deliver a tutorial, by the way.

I wonder if the buttons on the floor cause something. I think I will play it more to find out :)

Congratulations!

If you are interested, you can play WolfBit, our entry for this jam, right here:
http://ludumdare.com/compo/ludum-dare-35/?action=preview&uid=87729

It's also pixelated and top-down, but with a darker and rather opposite take on mutations. |
| Apr 20 03:24:00 | 9h 54m | L.I.G.H.T. | hello! The Mac version appears to have broken the controls, as I couldn't really move the character in any way. I would love to properly play your game, so if you can take a look at it, it would be awesome.

Also, if you are interested in my entry, it is in my team mate's account, and you can play it here:
http://ludumdare.com/compo/ludum-dare-35/?action=preview&uid=87729 |
| Apr 20 04:05:00 | 41m 00s | Cat-Astro-Phe | Hey, the music and overall vibe of the game are pretty good!
I did find the movement a little strange - however, I understand how hard can it be to create good platformer physics in so little time.

By the way, if you are interested in my entry, it is on my teammate's account. You can check WolfBit here:
http://ludumdare.com/compo/ludum-dare-35/?action=preview&uid=87729 |
| Apr 20 04:11:00 | 6m 00s | JaJa's Bizarre Transformer | Ok... what just happened?
Really weird entry, in a great sense! I do however found some problems mechanically, as mentioned above: the movement felt a bit constrained, and more freedom would be really welcome.

Hey, if you wish to play my entry, it's in my teammate's account. You can check WolfBit here:
http://ludumdare.com/compo/ludum-dare-35/?action=preview&uid=87729 |
| Apr 20 04:19:00 | 8m 00s | John Wizard | Loved the mechanics! It does have potential if you wish to expand the idea.
The platform physics are a bit clunky, but I know they are really hard to make from scratch in so little time.

If you are interested, our entry is in my teammate's account: you can play WolfBit here:
http://ludumdare.com/compo/ludum-dare-35/?action=preview&uid=87729 |
| Apr 20 04:33:00 | 14m 00s | Shadow of the Red Hand | WOW!

Now that's what I call great use of theme. Congratulations for the creativity!
The animations were phenomenal, the sound was good and soooo trippy...

I did find the physics a little off, but as the world is, creating platformer mechanics in such a short time is no easy task.

If you are interested, our entry is in my teammate's account: you can play WolfBit here:
http://ludumdare.com/compo/ludum-dare-35/?action=preview&uid=87729
It's more tense and dark than your surreal entry, so it's a whole different tone and approach to the theme. |
| Apr 20 05:09:00 | 36m 00s | Aftertile | Now I want to hug a ghost!
That's some pretty neat animation over there. The controls feel good, even though I found some collisions with spikes frustrating.

Good entry overall, congratz!

And hey! If you are interested, our entry is in my teammate's account: you can play WolfBit here:
http://ludumdare.com/compo/ludum-dare-35/?action=preview&uid=87729

Guess it has some level of pun in the name just like yours haha'
It's darker though. |
| Apr 20 05:16:00 | 7m 00s | Dovetail | Hello! I would love to see a Mac or Linux build (yeah... having no current access to Windows is a really bad thing for gaming) - or maybe a WebGL version.

It's aways good to see fellow Portuguese speaking devs with great material to share :)

And hey! If you are interested, our entry is in my teammate's account: you can play WolfBit here:
http://ludumdare.com/compo/ludum-dare-35/?action=preview&uid=87729

Salve do Brasil, até mais! |
| Apr 20 05:23:00 | 7m 00s | Mission: Decomposition | That's cute in a weird way haha

I enjoyed the concept, the artwork and sound design. One thing I did note is that some of my attacks didn't hit the enemies as expected. Not sure if I'm missing something...

Hey! If you are interested, our LD35 entry is in my teammate's account: you can play WolfBit here:
http://ludumdare.com/compo/ludum-dare-35/?action=preview&uid=87729 |
| Apr 20 05:28:00 | 5m 00s | RhythmicalCreation | Awesome music!

I loved how you packed a lot of "juice" in the game - it feels really good to play.
Congratulations for your entry!

And hey, if you are interested, our entry is in my teammate's account: you can play WolfBit here:
http://ludumdare.com/compo/ludum-dare-35/?action=preview&uid=87729 |
| Apr 21 03:53:00 | 22h 25m | Henkan Pachinko | Hello! Loved the octopus drawings :)
The puzzle design is interesting even though it's rather simple. Would be awesome if you expanded it into more levels to see how deep the concept can be (I'm curious about it).

By the way, what does the title mean?

Also, sorry for the merchandising, but just in case you are interested in playing our game and find nothing in my profile, that's because it's in my teammate's account.
You can check WolfBit here:
http://ludumdare.com/compo/ludum-dare-35/?action=preview&uid=87729 |
| Apr 21 04:19:00 | 26m 00s | Shape Shooters | That's some cool mechanics, this entry is really good.
Now, the one thing, I think, you should be careful about (and note that I NEVER said anything like that for jam games haha) is that I felt that you put too many mechanics at the same time.

For example, it is possible to create one extremely awesome shoot'em'up with the idea you had of changing speed/size/strength in real-time. It's also possible to create one high-octane racing game, completely distinct from the first one, using the color-coded barriers' thing you did.

BUT, when you joined the two ideas, I found it to be rather confusing.

You see, some of the which I find the greatest game designers state firmly that a good game is not about breadth of the mechanics, but the depth in which you explore them.

That's my humble opinion :)

Also... hey, if you are interested in our entry, it is on my teammate's account: you can play WolfBit here:
http://ludumdare.com/compo/ludum-dare-35/?action=preview&uid=87729 |
| Apr 21 04:30:00 | 11m 00s | Reconfigure | I enjoyed it a lot! Thanks for the high-speed battles and cool weapons you provided me now haha

If I have one complaint, that would be that I found the music a little repetitive.
But overall, solid entry! Contratz for the team.

If you are interested, our entry is in my teammate's account: you can play WolfBit here:
http://ludumdare.com/compo/ludum-dare-35/?action=preview&uid=87729 |
| Apr 21 05:40:00 | 1h 10m | After the 7th Day | GREAT TWIST!

Exceptional narrative game. Keep doing more haha |
| Apr 21 18:07:00 | 12h 27m | ShiftyBalls | Hello! I was just starting to play the game and, right after I died for the first time, this error just popped up.
"""
n error occured running the Unity content on this page. See your browser's JavaScript console for more info. The error was:
abort() at jsStackTrace@blob:http://e-aagh.net/a6b2d778-83ec-432a-9a9a-909c3c06f472:1:22823
stackTrace@blob:http://e-aagh.net/a6b2d778-83ec-432a-9a9a-909c3c06f472:1:23009
....[and lot more lines more or less equal]
If this abort() is unexpected, build with -s ASSERTIONS=1 which can give more information.
"""
I was playing the WebGL version on Safari.

Interesting entry. I started playing videogames at the boom of 3D platformers, so I can't help but find this genre incredibly special.
Some suggestions I would give is to allow changes midway through, it's not good having to wait for the previous one to finish.
Also, it's important to keep in mind that platformers are all about fluidity of physics and responsiveness of controls, which is no easy task for us developers. So, keep improving! Would be really interesting to see more of this one.

And hey, just in case you are interested, our entry is in my teammate's account: you can play WolfBit here:
http://ludumdare.com/compo/ludum-dare-35/?action=preview&uid=87729 |
| Apr 21 18:46:00 | 39m 00s | Soothsayer Simulator 2016 | This is good. Like, really good.

I just love interactive storytelling - new, original ways to translate ideas and invoke emotions in the player. And you, sir, did that with conviction and subtlety.

By the way:
This is one of the pieces that makes me wonder if they are really a game...
For now, I think I prefer the broader term "experience", since it doesn't invoke in the player one clear objective to go for. On the other hand, the real objective is to explore - my favorite aspect of the medium.

I wonder what do you think about that topic.

Also, I'm really interested (and currently developing) some "experiences" of my own.
So thanks for being one inspiration :)

Oh, and... just in case you want to check my entry, it's on my teammate's account. You can try WolfBit here:
http://ludumdare.com/compo/ludum-dare-35/?action=preview&uid=87729 |
| Apr 21 19:14:00 | 28m 00s | Ghost Bird | Hey! Loved your game, and the fact that you were able to develop a Metroidvania-style game with a lot of personality and style for this LD.

I find the filter a good idea, even though it sometimes feels is a little bit forced to fit the shapeshifting theme. Limiting your field of view is an interesting aspect because it makes the world bigger and more mysterious.

The controls are mostly tight, probably the best platformer physics I have seem so far. However, the slope eating the jumps thing someone mentioned is real, and you should really improve this by adding some degree of tolerance to fit player's reactions.
And since you created a REALLY difficult game, it's REALLY important to have this aspects handled pretty consistently to avoid frustrations.

But seriously, congratulations for your game.

Oh, and just in case you are interested, our entry is in my teammate's account: you can play WolfBit here:
http://ludumdare.com/compo/ludum-dare-35/?action=preview&uid=87729 |
