Dec 15 11:05:00 Find The Light Definitely a lil rough on the edges (but that's Ludum Dare for you), sound could have enhanced the mood further and the rocks often block droplets leading to uncollectible situations for the player. Left and Right appears to lock up at points as well, but other than these points the game is simple and sweet, keeps with the theme pretty well too. Good job on your first submission, I hope we can see many more from you in the future :).
Dec 15 11:17:00 12m 00s Fat Cat Pretty damn funny and a really good style and presentation for LD! Gameplay is a bit simple but it's part of the charm, it's a really good micro-game and the music makes it chill and relaxed. Good work, looks like everyone pulled out the stops for this :D.
Dec 16 08:54:00 21h 37m Growing Circles Congratulations on your first game! The game is a simple Feed the Fish style game, but that's pretty good for a starting submission. Keep it up, I'm looking forward to seeing what you can make in the future :).
Dec 16 08:55:00 1m 00s Hope Very smooth and slick, like the controls and the stylistic choices with the art definitely carry this game further. Simple but really good for LD, thanks for putting this up!
Dec 17 03:52:00 18h 57m Billy's Big Day When I first saw the picture posted as a screenshot I was expecting something that was going to be shovelware or just a joke screen submission, but when I booted up the game I was really, genuinely surprised at how fun it felt. The red around the negative pickups is a little unclear and some things throw you into unwinnnable situations with dodging beams and the negative items, but damn. This has a surprising amount of kinetic feedback that was really unexpected. Very fun, surprisingly so! 5 stars for usage of both themes, and well I must say. Great stuff.
Dec 17 03:54:00 2m 00s Capitalist FM Sounds like a cool idea, but sadly can't get this working. I'm on Windows 8.1 if this means anything. This feels like a concept you'd want to expand on outside of the Jam, sounds pretty damn ambitious for an LD entry, especially with the PvP element.
Dec 17 03:56:00 2m 00s Farm Text overlap and issues using both buttons in combination kind of made this really hard for me to play. Did dig the art, but the text made it real hard to play it further. Any plans to put up a post Jam fix version of this soon?
Dec 17 03:59:00 3m 00s Riders On The Steppes Simple gameplay, felt like it needed a wee bit more (i.e variation with mounted units, some that charged on left click, etc), but the presentation was pretty good and felt fun to play despite some lag issues I noticed when playing it on my machine (alleviated by downloading it). Good work!
Dec 17 04:10:00 11m 00s Tamagotchi Hell Sounds are nice, the game does drag a little bit (especially the catching minigame), art was really good especially for a Jam entry, much more of a mood filled, slightly creepy vibe to the whole deal that was really intriguing whilst playing it, but when I hit the young kid age it kept resetting my growth bar and progress :(. <br/> <br/>Good work though, I hope the bug is resolved for a post-patch release.
Dec 17 04:14:00 4m 00s Star Control An Ilwrath, Umgah, and Supox walk into a bar... <br/> <br/>Name aside, the game's actually pretty fun, I wish there were some explosions after killing ships, the bomb upgrade seems slightly too short of range and doesn't offer a lot of coverage with it's explosions against the homing missiles and machine gun. Pretty fun actually, surprised this hasn't got a review yet, hopefully more check this out soon :).
Dec 17 04:21:00 7m 00s Snowman's Christmas Full marks on innovation. At first wasn't too sure if this was going to make a fun game or not, but when I hit stage 3 I realized it actually lead to a really unique and intriguing puzzle game. Very unexpected! Really good work, may play this some more to see ho far I get, this really could be an mobile game at some time and do well from it!
Dec 17 04:38:00 17m 00s Mega-Growth Collisions are loose, not precise and makes it a little unfair but the overall game is really basic. No sound at all to speak of on this end. <br/> <br/>In the future you should export this as a single exe, not an installer, because it's really troublesome to uninstall these and go through the install process for a micro game like this. Still, if this is your first project it's a pretty good effort, feels like it needed a bit more focus on the project and a lil more polish to get a bit more to it.
Dec 17 04:41:00 3m 00s The Dice Tower of Babylon Impossible for me to play this as I don't have TableTop Simulator. Isn't this pushing the definitions a little bit? Possibly not, but I can't give this any reviews on account of not having Tabletop Simulator, bummer :(.
Dec 17 04:42:00 1m 00s Blood Cleaner There's no download link here chap. Sorry, we can't play it without a link :(.
Dec 17 04:46:00 4m 00s neon fall Ratta Ratta Ratta Ratta. <br/> <br/>Fun little micro game, the bumping's pretty cool, I feel like the fall rate is a little too fast and it was kind of lacking difficulty when I got large enough. Definitely a cool parent-son collaboration though, looking forward to seeing more in the future ;).
Dec 17 04:52:00 6m 00s The Super Bros (that are not Brothers!) Like the concept but it proves unwieldy, having to jump and then press direction ends up missing a lot of platforms and ends to frustration because the two can block each other. Using Up is okay, but kind of breaks the theme? Regardless, that feels like an option for folks who can't press A + D at the same time due to sticky key stuff. Interesting concept, shame there's no sound with it :&lt;
Dec 17 05:15:00 23m 00s Colony XG-29 This is an insane amount of work for 72 hours, the graphics are cool, and the idea is pretty damn solid, it's a shame about no sound, and the wonky UI making it hard to end days, do you think you will be releasing a post jam version to add content or fix some of these issues? Really good work all over! Some insanely cool concepts, I may be playing this for some time :).
Dec 17 05:19:00 4m 00s Stardust Fun concept, but I do agree with the other reviews, it's a bit hard to track where you are. Needs some kind of star background, but it's pretty good when you get used to it :).
Dec 17 05:38:00 19m 00s The More You Arm Very funny, loved the surreal humour and being able to eat the folks, wish it had some sound but the entire package is really strong with this one. Kudos man!
Dec 17 05:41:00 3m 00s Babality Buggy, weird little game, interesting concept but gets a little dry after a bit. Could be good with multiplayer kicking about with it! I do feel like it's not super strong on theme (the car I get but the rest isn't following growing or 2 butons save for that)
Dec 25 11:22:00 197h 41m Sprout Top notch presentation, music is great, definitely got a ton of polish, doesn't innovate a whole lot (it's Snake), but damn if the tune ups aren't impressive! Good stuff!
Dec 25 11:24:00 2m 00s Find the turkey Can't rut he game, sorry chap :(.
Dec 25 11:31:00 7m 00s Rymdval Not quite sure what to do, but a good effort for the jam. Controls work but I wasn't sure if I was increasing in speed every time I hit space when I had enough bar for it.
Dec 25 11:33:00 2m 00s Cookie Jam Very funny. 5/5 Stars for comedy, you should become a writer or something.
Dec 25 11:35:00 2m 00s TAPTAP Only sources mate, can't run it :(.
Dec 25 11:42:00 7m 00s Leaf or Die I don't really know how to steer this, are we able to get additional information? Presentation is nice but I wish the controls played ball with me. I don't understand how to control it :&lt;
Dec 25 11:48:00 6m 00s AGENT 007 Nice shooter, but next time can you export it as a stand alone executable and not an installer? It just makes it easier in the future. <br/> <br/>As for the gameplay, it's pretty fun and simple, a lil buggy for a first entry it's pretty damn solid man, impressive man :).
Dec 25 11:52:00 4m 00s GrowMochi Very impressive homage to Tamagotchi's, the graphics are a really good nod to that style, the gameplay's simple but fun, and whilst not amazingly innovative it's still a really damn good entry in this LD. Great work!
Dec 25 11:55:00 3m 00s Pong Breaker Wish I could play this, but as it's linux I'm afraid I can't get this rocking on my system, sorry dude. Any chance for a Windows export?
Dec 25 12:00:00 5m 00s More. Lil unclear, but got working in it, the game needs me to spend more time to contemplate it some more, but usually with these pretentious art games is that they end up based in reality somewhere along the line like ye said. I can only interpret stuff as wanting to go home but it depresses the character, pushes him away and gets caught in a cycle, but that may just be me. Needs a bit more polish especially graphically, but could be an interesting theme to explore further in a more fleshed out art game :).
Dec 25 12:21:00 21m 00s Snakes On A Continuous Plane Surprisingly fun, can't say it's a new concept (it's snake) but the animation and general bounciness of it really makes this stand out, good fun! :)
Dec 25 18:07:00 5h 46m Max Force And The Cave Of Dankness You should finish this post jam, what you have is really solid, from the character design to the concept. Sticky controls here as well, but that's part of jam stuff. Looking forward to seeing more from you in the future :).
Dec 25 18:16:00 9m 00s Press to Jam While clickers aren't super innovative I really digged this, something about the presentation and feel of upgrades made it fun and it didn't ever outstay it's welcome. Good stuff, thanks fer throwing this up on LD! :)
Dec 25 18:19:00 3m 00s Dodge Meteor Access denied with link sadly mate :(.
Dec 25 18:22:00 3m 00s Binary Interesting concept, but I'm afraid I don't know hat's going on in this. Needs more time in the oven, will you be working on a post jam version? Would like to see the finalized vision of this.
Dec 25 18:27:00 5m 00s BigFish Pretty basic concept (Fish eating and all). Did get it running after some time downloading the html for it (you need to get this hosted online, not just slung on Dropbox for the html plugins to work properly). It's good for what it is, maybe playing with different mechanics beyond just devouring may help. The whole thing about larger fish getting the jump on you feels a lil strange to me personally, but kudos for getting another game up on LD!
Dec 25 18:30:00 3m 00s Steve's misfortune Needs some checkpoints in rooms, but it's a small game so I was able to clear it pretty quickly. Pretty damn fun level design and the control scheme was innovative, definite pluses for that! Art felt like it needed more time devoted to it, but beyond that, it's actually real good fun. Good work :).
Dec 25 18:34:00 4m 00s Nia in Mushroom World Themeing isn't amazingly strong to either growing or 2 buttons, feels like the throw system needs some speeding up and tweaking. It's definitely promising, and way more ambitious than most LD titles, so that gets my vote for sure. Would vote for graphics and audio but there's no options for that. I think the throwing mechanic is fine as a basis, it needs some refining. Giving her a gun would drop some of the charm and make it a little more generic in my own opinion. If you're going to expand the game outside of the jam, maybe have vials or some kind of combination mechanic to compliment the throwing? Either way, interesting to see such an ambitious looking title show up in LD. Looking forward to seeing more in the future :).
Dec 25 18:38:00 4m 00s Snek Relaxing, interesting to see a hybrid of snake and fish genres at once, feels like it really could do with some audio feedback and some ambient sounds. Was a fun jaunt and honestly feels really smooth, definitely one of the better snake games this LD. A cool little project~
Dec 25 18:40:00 2m 00s Macosa and the Cave by: Stefen Menzel/Andrew Herbst Great style and visuals, the controls are really cumbersome, with the character moving so fast and jumping being really strange with motion, it kind of ends up being really hard to play. Good stuff all around however, and I'm definitely digging the mood this game creates with it's audio and graphics in tow. Thanks for the game!
Dec 25 18:42:00 2m 00s YOLO Gets a lil repetitive but the presentation (specially audio-wise) is pretty damn snazzy. Definitely appreciating the humour in this, enjoyed this quite a bit, the golden rule of KISS definitely prevails with this. Good stuff!
