| Dec 14 03:22:00 | Keyboard Prince | I experienced quite a bit of lag on my weak PC, though I may try this game again later on my more powerful one, since this game supports Linux (at least, I'm assuming it does with the "Multi-Platform" label). The collision for the enemies felt a bit off, half the time the attack wouldn't hit them, and it felt quite random. Also, the blue texture in area 2 made it very hard to figure out where I was going, and as such, I found myself backtracking a lot. You probably want to make this texture more detailed to help solve this. | |
| Dec 14 03:47:00 | 25m 00s | The Lawpasser | Not quite sure how to run this one. There doesn't seem to be any sort of executable included in the .zip. |
| Dec 14 04:26:00 | 39m 00s | Mining Game | The fact that each individual file needs to be downloaded is REALLY annoying, and the game is REALLY unfinished (though that's understandable, as you said you didn't have much time this weekend. |
| Dec 14 04:32:00 | 6m 00s | AGE | Looks, sounds, and plays really nice, but I wasn't able to beat it, so I'm judging based off of level 1, assuming there's more. I find the enemy AI to be quite a bit annoying, and I think that the age drains a bit too fast, but I could be wrong. |
| Dec 14 04:39:00 | 7m 00s | Omega Llama! | When I tried to run it, I got an error saying something along the lines of "make sure main.lua is at the top level of the zip". There does not appear to be a "main.lua" in the folder. |
| Dec 14 04:48:00 | 9m 00s | Moo.F.O. | Pretty nice game, and very fun to play, though it lags quite a bit on my computer. I'm not sure if that's on the part of your game or my computer TBH. |
| Dec 14 04:52:00 | 4m 00s | Two Finger Platformer | The game feels rather clunky to me and not very fun, and the graphics are pretty bad. I suppose the concept is pretty interesting though, just...well, not very fun IMO. The music is pretty good though. |
| Dec 14 04:58:00 | 6m 00s | Rape, Pillage, Makane! | Well...that was...quite the adventure... |
| Dec 14 22:04:00 | 17h 06m | itch | Huh, seems cool. I'm giving this a download, I'll try to get my entry working with it later. |
| Dec 15 14:30:00 | 16h 26m | Infinite Runner | The game ran pretty buggy on my end, the graphics are pretty terrible IMO, as well as not contrasting enough, as it was hard to tell where the player character was at times. However, I did really like the music, so I think you did well on that front. |
| Dec 15 14:42:00 | 12m 00s | The True God | The game was pretty buggy in my experience. I once randomly died despite having plenty of food and faith, and at one point, my character just kinda flopped over and was unable to move. Also, you can repeatedly jump into the sky, so...yeah, that's a bug that probably needs to be fixed. |
| Dec 15 14:55:00 | 13m 00s | Jeffrey's Adventure | For a game that's fairly buggy, this is actually pretty fun, despite some terrible level design choices, like how the wall jumping segments were handled. |
| Dec 15 15:04:00 | 9m 00s | Waffle Hunters | I really liked the graphics and audio, but the game itself is quite buggy. The jumping in particular just doesn't quite feel right. |
| Dec 15 15:20:00 | 16m 00s | Switchies | The way that the game jumped back to the main menu after every stage was annoying, but otherwise, this is a fairly nice game. I would like to mention, however, that I thought it was a bit odd that the character stayed in place after it was pushed back, in most runner games, they will eventually move back to the default position. I'm wondering if this is intentional or not. |
| Dec 15 15:33:00 | 13m 00s | Kindom Questions | I know this was only made in 24 hours, the graphics are pretty bad as-is, though I suppose it is understandable. I did like the decision making, but I felt like there wasn't enough involvement with the progression of the city, and I think there should have been more questions. Perhaps the ability to choose where walls and buildings are placed would be in a future build? |
| Dec 15 15:42:00 | 9m 00s | Bad Cloud | I liked this game, despite not seeing what it had to do with either theme. The graphics were really nice, and the controls worked rather well. However, either the collision or the camera seemed to be a tad wonky, as the lightning bolts and the water absorption didn't work where it looked like they should, but rather a bit above and to the left of where it looks to be. If you fixed this and added some more variety, this would actually be a pretty good casual web game. |
| Dec 15 15:49:00 | 7m 00s | リーソンのゲーム Leeson's Game | I had a few issues with the game scrolling around when the arrow keys were pressed, but when it worked, I had fun playing. Though if you don't mind me asking, why do you have part of both the game and the game's title written in (what appears to be, but forgive me if I'm wrong as I've only started learning Japanese not too long ago) Japanese Hiragana, yet the entire description is written in English? |
| Dec 15 16:07:00 | 18m 00s | Monster Munch | I thought the controls were a bit awkward (though granted, I didn't use a gamepad), but otherwise, I had a lot of fun with the game. I liked the different factory events as well. The only thing that bugged me is that if the game ends from eating a bomb, the game doesn't tell you your score. |
| Dec 15 16:13:00 | 6m 00s | Man Simulator | I really liked what I was able to see of this game. The minigames were pretty fun once you knew what to do, and the graphics and music were great! |
| Dec 15 16:33:00 | 20m 00s | GuettoCraft | This one had quite a few issues, such as the map scrolling being really fast and only controllable by the arrow keys as opposed to WASD, and I don't get how it uses either theme, but that didn't stop it from being fun. I had a good time with this game, and it would be interesting to see you extend this further. |
| Dec 15 16:38:00 | 5m 00s | Face Off: Retrieve Your Face | The gameplay feels rather stiff and unnatural, and the music creates some serious clashing in the mood IMO, with the music being cheery and upbeat and the graphics being of a dark and grey city area. That said, for a third game, this isn't THAT bad. Heck, my third game was a WHOLE lot worse. |
| Dec 15 16:47:00 | 9m 00s | Evil Developer's Lair | The double jumping felt like more of a bug than a feature, there's only a few graphics, and their constant reuse makes them uninteresting quickly. The game itself really feels unfinished, and I don't just mean thematically. That said, this is a lot better than most people's, including my own, first game, so you should probably be really proud. |
| Dec 15 18:27:00 | 1h 40m | Unicell Manager | I liked this game for the most part, but there's no way to produce a new protein vacuole if you're out of protein and your last one is destroyed, though I guess that makes sense. Also, I'm not sure if there's a better way to deal with toxins than to block them from reaching your nucleus with your other organelles, but if there is, you probably should make it more known. |
| Dec 15 18:34:00 | 7m 00s | EarthWard | I really liked this game, the mouse controls felt nice (and would likely feel even nicer when not using a mousepad), and this game is really, REALLY impressive for 48 hours of work. The graphics and music are well made and charming. All around great job! |
| Dec 15 18:39:00 | 5m 00s | Need For Seed: Undergrowth | Really nice game, it reminds me of Atari 2600 games. The sound effects were pretty nice, it was fun to play, and I admittedly laughed at more than one of the puns on the title screen. However, some elements of the game were not quite clear at first, most notably the pollination. |
| Dec 15 18:47:00 | 8m 00s | Plumber Panic | The gameplay got repetitive really quickly and could be cheesed easily by spamming the left and right buttons. Adding a delay to switching sides may fix this, but you'll likely also need to reduce the number of plumbers to compensate. |
| Dec 15 19:11:00 | 24m 00s | Thogh - Growth | The game was pretty nice, but very repetitive. The music also felt too quiet to me. |
| Dec 15 20:15:00 | 1h 04m | Millenium Fist | Punched bully twice to the face, bully died.

10/10 would Millenium Fist again.

...but in all seriousness, this is a nice, albeit short game. |
| Dec 15 20:34:00 | 19m 00s | Crab Quest | Unreal Engine was probably the wrong tool to make this game with. Also, the crab movement and turning is much too slow to be much fun IMO. Using both buttons at once to change actions was pretty neat though. |
| Dec 15 20:43:00 | 9m 00s | Jeff is having issues controlling his appetite | It's a shame that you couldn't get the story finished, as the art is amazing, the music and atmosphere are great and the dialogue is hilarious. I really hope you continue this in some form. |
| Dec 15 20:53:00 | 10m 00s | Shroomys quest for fuel | Seems like an alright game for casual play, but the lack of music really works against it. Right now, the game gets pretty boring pretty quickly. |
| Dec 16 00:49:00 | 3h 56m | Super Spacesquids | Fairly nice engine for a top down action game, but I feel like it needs some more enemies, as well as a way to heal. Didn't really see a theme connection, but at least it was fun. |
