The controls could be better and sometimes you encounter situations that you can't avoid (like a worm crawling out of the wall and blocking of the path when rock thing is also floating down. Nice job for 6 hours of work. <br/> <br/>@5you: It's normal to ship dll's. If a game doesn't it means they're embedded in the exe, but that's unflexible and also sort of hard to do. Next time please include an error message as "it doesn't work" is not really helpful. |

It seemed to me like the growing of the seeds was way too fast, but that's kinda hard to balance. Also the overlap when you were standing behind a plant was weird. The art style was simple but fun and the game looked coherent. Well done. |

Sadly I got bored quickly since the restart level button (shift?) didn't seem to work, and restarting every time was bothersome. The graphics really suited the gameplay and gave of a really nice mood together. Very good game and nice design! |

Also, it would be nice if there would be some kind of way to enhance your "sun-catching skill", as it gets almost impossible very quickly to grab sun at all once you get higher. The concept is interesting however, and I liked the visuals of the game. I especially liked how your enemies later become food :) The music didn't really add anything to the atmosphere. |

And also the waves spawned a bit too quickly to collect the seeds it seemed. But it was fun to shoot the animals and help the tree :) |

Also the visuals of the game are amazing and give of a very cool mood! The game is very simple but tremendously solid, and seeing the hair styles changes and to watch the faces passing by is a lot of fun. Maybe add keyboard bindings as an after-jam addition? That way the real enthousiast can get even higher highscores :p Well done! |

For rar I have to use a separate program, which is, well, not that much effort really, but it could be a tad better if given a zip. <br/> <br/>That was a fun game! The music fit the vibe if the game, as well as the background and the overall style of the game. The mechanic was pretty interesting and fun to get under control. The combinations that were fired at you could be more challenging, but this was not a problem. Very good work! |

I liked the idea of the concept, and I think it would've been pretty fun to play. The music didn't add much more to the atmosphere than the visuals did but kudos for putting a soundtrack in. |

The graphics were minimal but the symbols and the bean stalk were very abstract (loved it!) and looked well polished. Good job on finishing your first ludum dare, be sure to enter again and make another abstract game! :-) |

You managed to make it feel very organic, as sometimes you needed to help out the blobs as they got stuck under the platforms by lifting up the bone for a split second. One might argue this is a bug, but I think it adds to the experience as a feature. The music fitted the mood of the game very well, and the blobs running around and dying in the acid were a lot of fun to watch :) The only downside is that it gets boring after a while, but as a whole this is a really solid game! |
| Dec 15 10:46:00 | 5m 00s | Secret of the Little Lamb | The web version wouldn't load, so I downloaded the windows version. <br/> <br/>Looked fun to play, but the spikes are really unforgiving and it's kind of a drag to have to play through the tutorial (as in, wait for 30 secs) every time you die/make a wrong jump by one millisecond. The game looked pretty good and gave off the right atmosphere, and the music fit nicely with the whole. You got a very nice and complete base for a game, but next time try to make it a bit more forgiving or give a way to skip the introduction (or make the introduction more exciting). |

Maybe the dialogue was a bit slow; next time you could implement a key to skip the lines? Pokemon style, with space or something? It could use some 80's retro soundtrack though. The controls worked nicely. I died at level 4 or 5, but it wasn't really clear why since I didn't really get a chance to defend myself. Other than a bit of balancing the game was very nice :) |

Well done (: Except that it shut down when I lowered my volume (fn+f6...?) <br/> <br/>Fun game! Very hard, mostly because it's hard to coordinate walljumps while moving that fast. The mechanics are solid though. The music and sounds weren't special, but they were there and fitted the game nicely. The graphics were also simple and not ugly. Good job! |
