| Dec 9 00:28:00 | Fido, Fiona & Fidel | Thanks for stopping by and playing/rating Natquik. Your compliment was VERY generous and definitely appreciated! I really like the idea for this game, unfortunately after playing it twice I'm still having a little trouble hitting a goal point - it seems like maybe I'm hot because the space is two blocks away, but I'm surrounded by walls? Something to look into.

You may also want to tweak the sound a little more. Right now the thumping (snoring/purring?) is very low and the parrot is very high. The contrast in frequency can sometimes be painful for certain people. (I did not find it painful, but it's right on the border, so something to consider for post-compo.)

Overall it was a fun play and an innovative game that I've never really seen before. Thanks for sharing and congrats! :D | |
| Dec 9 00:34:00 | 6m 00s | Screen Door Panic! | 12400. I was just thinking that it wasn't increasing in challenge when all of a sudden there were cat paws everywhere!!! Pretty fun and innovative. Oh and uh...it certainly takes place on one SCREEN. I see what you did there. Oh yes. I see what you did.

Thanks for sharing and congrats on finishing! :D |
| Dec 9 06:13:00 | 5h 39m | Super Start World | I enjoyed myself. Fit the theme. I liked the meta nature of it. Good stuff. :) I feel like if I score enough points something will happen, but I didn't want to keep at it too long.

Thanks for sharing and congrats on finishing! :) |
| Dec 10 04:04:00 | 21h 51m | BACON DEFENDER: Ninja assault | Hey! Thanks for checking out Natquik and leaving a comment. I really liked the mood you set with the music and lighting. Even if you didn't make the music during the compo, it was well chosen.

As far as improvements go, I think being able to fire while moving could be smoother and since the jump is a little awkward, you might want to drop the collision on the bacon box.

Otherwise it's a fun game and I'm glad you got to share it. Congrats! :D |
| Dec 11 00:30:00 | 20h 26m | Break the Limits! | Really loved this. And I mean that. Loved. This. I had a lot of fun playing it. It's an original take on the theme. It has a lot to say about life. I think it's a very well put together title and one of my favorites so far.

Great work, thanks for sharing, and congrats! :) |
| Dec 11 08:01:00 | 7h 31m | Return of the Floppy | Thanks for checking out Natquik and leaving me feedback! I definitely enjoyed myself here. I felt like the difficulty ramped up slowly but specifically. I was collecting stars and getting to the flow of things. The music reminded me a little bit of Primer's soundtrack. Job well done. Thanks for sharing and congrats! :) |
| Dec 11 08:32:00 | 31m 00s | Lull | Wow. There were a lot of twists and turns in there that I didn't expect. I'm not sure how close my version is to the version that other people get, but I definitely thought it was a cool story.

I liked the use of sound especially and how much that came up in my version. It definitely helped to set the mood and showing how things change over time and from one period to the next was cool. I love seeing consequences play out and visual novels are a favorite of mine.

Thanks again for checking out Natquik and leaving feedback and thank you for making this and sharing it. Congrats! :) |
| Dec 11 20:56:00 | 12h 24m | One Killer - One Window | I really like the layout of this a lot. I think it's a very cool concept of listening in and piecing together who could be the murderer. The only thing that's a little off for me is the fade transition between time and how short the conversations are - both make the game feel very abrupt. That said, those are things that will be worked out with polish and for 72 hours, this is a really cool start. I hope you continue building on it.

Thank you for sharing and congrats! :D |
| Dec 12 08:46:00 | 11h 50m | Beat Bop Delicious | Definitely gave me the feeling of being a DJ and just sort of mixing on the fly. I made it to about 1:30 my second time in. Everything is laid out well and the difference between each section is nice.

Saw your note on Natquik, but was a little confused. Natquik is the name of the game and the towns are on the right. Hopefully you get a chance to try it again, but you should be able to get to Orangebrook before it's over. Thanks again for playing and for sharing this. :) Congrats! |
| Dec 15 19:31:00 | 82h 45m | Alpha Circuit | First I just want to say thank you for taking the time to play and comment on my entry, Natquik. I really appreciate it.

Secondly, this game is extremely well done. I had a lot of fun playing it. Yes the giant eyeballs are tough, but they are possible to defeat! :)

I found the game challenging, fun, and really good to listen to. I like the aesthetic, I like the levels. This is a really great entry. Thank you for sharing and congrats! :) |
| Dec 18 04:09:00 | 56h 38m | Coded Universe | It's good for the time that it was made in. I agree with some of the comments that say that I think you could've done more with it as a jam entry and I'd love to see more of it if you do!

The lack of a tutorial makes it pretty difficult to get what's going on at first. See if you can work in using the controls to your story. Once I knew what I had to do, getting around the game was fun and easy. That initial hurdle might keep people away though. Just something to try to iron out.

The idea itself is really neat and reminds me a lot of what Double Fine was doing with Hack n' Slash. You might try taking a look at that, if you haven't already. :)

Cool entry. Thanks for your notes on Natquik and thank you for sharing this! Congrats! :D |
| Dec 18 04:19:00 | 10m 00s | STS (Simple TopDown Shooter) | Nicely done. Very simple. I like the teleport, though it wasn't working perfectly for me (sometimes I would teleport and still be hit - not sure why). I'm a little unclear as to why you'd ever want to use the open ship - it seems like if you can be closed all the time, wouldn't you want that? Or is it for players who want the challenge?

I like the design, like the pacing, and I definitely dug the fact that you let it retain my score. That was a nice touch since it's a feature that you didn't need to include. Hope you keep expanding on it and from reading the comments it sounds like you are!

Thanks again for commenting on Natquik. And congrats on finishing your entry! :) |
| Dec 18 04:31:00 | 12m 00s | Juoi | Really enjoyed this. The move set is nice. It ramps up nicely, even though it gets crazy quick. You pretty much figure out what you need to do from the get go. I only got to what I will admiringly call "double lazer mouth time," so I'm not sure how close I got to the end.

It's a really original choice, I think and I appreciated the music. The art style is really cool and reminds me a little bit of Journey.

Excited to see what else you do. Thanks again for checking out and commenting on Natquik. It's much appreciated! And congrats on getting your entry in! :D |
| Dec 29 03:21:00 | 262h 50m | Super Snow Girl | I really liked what little was there. I also fell into the same trap of not being able to get my full idea out there, so I feel your pain. I love the art, but it's pretty clearly lineart that's been scaled down - totally understandable for time, but I'd love to see you do some real pixeling for the final product. :)

Great job, thanks for sharing, and congrats on finishing! |
| Dec 29 23:53:00 | 20h 32m | endless rules | I made it past 12 rules. This is a really fun game and a pretty innovative idea. By the time I hit "invisible walls," that was pretty tough, but before then it wasn't so bad.

The music was good and really it's all about the idea, so nice work. :)

Thanks again for commenting/voting on Natquik. I really appreciate the feedback. Best of luck in the results and congrats! |
| Dec 30 00:13:00 | 20m 00s | The Second Thought or Please, Don't Touch Anything | I think you did a great job with this. I'm interested in sitting down for a lot longer and trying to figure out the whole thing. At first I didn't even realize it HAD other endings, or that it had ended.

I like that you sort of have to pick up on that and notice the small changes. It's very cool. Also, the music is nice and the UI gives the whole thing an eerie yet relaxed atmosphere.

Nice job! Congrats on getting it in and thanks for commenting/voting on Natquik! :) |
| Dec 30 00:17:00 | 4m 00s | Swat Team | Nicely done! I think it's always hard to judge two-player games without having a second player, but I can tell that the mechanics are balanced by just kind of playing one side and then playing the other.

I've also been very pleased with the people who have interpreted "screen" this way. Nice touch.

Thanks again for playing/voting/commenting on Natquik! And congrats for getting your entry in! |
| Dec 30 00:28:00 | 11m 00s | ☃ | I would REALLY love to play this on my phone. I think it would be crazy successful. I definitely can see myself trying to get a better score every time - as I walk by my graves.

I didn't understand why getting more health would be bad at first, then I realized and it was really great how each element built on the last.

I'd love it if there was some music here - that's probably my only complaint. Otherwise, great job.

Thanks again for commenting on Natquik and congrats on your entry! :) |
| Dec 30 00:50:00 | 22m 00s | Paws of Fury | Had a lot of fun. Pushed a lot of kitties. I liked the music, I liked the art. I'm not sure how I feel about destroying my mouse to be a cat... huh.

Anyway, very fun. Thanks again for checking out Natquik and for voting/commenting. It means a lot. Congrats on getting your entry in! |
| Dec 30 00:54:00 | 4m 00s | Windows Cleaner Simulator | It's a cool idea. I'd like to see what more you can do with it. I'm interested in the idea of telling a story in this way for sure, though.

Very innovative. Thanks again for checking out Natquik and voting/commenting. And congrats! |
| Dec 30 00:59:00 | 5m 00s | Communications Control | Really good idea that was definitely stymied by time. I'm pretty positive this will go far once you've built up on it more. I'm going to check out the post-compo entry later, but I wanted to make sure that I reviewed it.

Things were a little unclear as far as the commands go. You introduced the first few and that was nice. Hopefully in the future you'll have a mission that forces the player to utilize all of them as a tutorial of sorts.

Obviously that's not something I expected you to have done in such a short time frame and what you did accomplish was really cool. Thanks for entering and showing this off and thank you very much for checking out Natquik and commenting.

Take care! |
