Dec 8 03:16:00 Killa Biva' Love the music and the weapon progression, as well as the beaver's running animation. Bit repetitive after a while, but definitely fun.
Dec 8 03:21:00 5m 00s Resize Neat idea! I got stuck pretty early on (couldn't figure out what to do with the pink thing), but what I was able to get through was clever.
Dec 8 03:31:00 10m 00s One Interesting. Dark. Nice job.
Dec 8 03:33:00 2m 00s Thunder Plays Chrome labels the download for this "malicious" and blocks it. Um?
Dec 8 04:02:00 29m 00s LD scan This is fantastic and I will never be a doctor
Dec 8 04:37:00 35m 00s Summoned I can't get very far in this - the orthographic camera makes it really hard to tell whether a platform can be jumped to :(
Dec 8 05:03:00 26m 00s Yibbits Neat! I like the art style and the particle effects. The movement feels like it could use some tuning, though - I had a really hard time not falling off things.
Dec 8 05:06:00 3m 00s Astro Conflict Those are really nice-looking spaceships. The movement controls are nifty too - kind of tricky, but novel for sure.
Dec 8 05:11:00 5m 00s Picofrio: Shadow Play night I... can't really tell what I'm supposed to do here. I got the fire? but can't seem to do anything with it.
Dec 8 05:21:00 10m 00s Nihility I can't walk at all - the only way I can move is by holding down a direction and Space, and even then the jumps only sometimes move me sideways. I got to the first "I", read the haiku, and eventually got over to the second "I", but hitting E there does nothing and it's not prompting me to do anything else. I'm pretty much stuck. :(
Dec 8 05:29:00 8m 00s Dabug This is my favorite so far. Graphics are superb, gameplay's great, and there's a lot of little details (like the countdown bars over the bombs) that make this feel really nice. The explosion sound is a little harsh, but that's a quibble. Great job!
Dec 8 05:33:00 4m 00s Autumn Physics Interesting idea, but as a couple of others have said, the randomized levels mean you only ever get one try at a given configuration. It'd be more fun if it kept the blocks you had in the layout you had them and let you rearrange them to try to get it right.
Dec 8 05:50:00 17m 00s pluvia Very cool. Loved the rain particle effects and the music. Clever use of the light to bring things in and out of the scene... I'll admit I didn't know what was going on at the end, but the whole thing felt kind of pleasantly contemplative.
Dec 8 07:18:00 1h 28m Shiny Disco Ball! Looks really nice, but I'd've liked to see something in the gameplay that differed from regular pinball.
Dec 8 07:39:00 21m 00s You are Green Fantastic art. Loved the writing, especially "magic doesn't work on problems". Nicely done.
Dec 9 05:29:00 21h 50m Panorama Nifty. Took me a while to get the hang of the 360-degree view, but I did at least restore my faith in democracy.
Dec 9 05:34:00 5m 00s Touch of Light Pleasant. The movement feels a bit heavy, considering I'm just a light. I like the invisible things scattered around the scene. Might've been interesting for touching the orange light to make it shrink a little and then grow back over time - if you had to subsist off it without putting it out entirely there'd be a cool balancing act here.
Dec 9 05:59:00 25m 00s Down with Bio Fun! I liked the blobby enemy designs - reminds me of some game I played way back in the mists of time. The demolition mechanic is pretty cool too.
Dec 9 06:11:00 12m 00s Witch v Hell Amazing art and good music, but the gameplay is pretty rough. It's almost impossible to get out of the way of the red glowy things.
Dec 9 06:16:00 5m 00s Robert's Run This was a a lot of fun and I really liked the art style (though the hamburgers were kind of incongruous). One thing I'd've liked to see would be more variety in the types of obstacles... maybe something you had to jump to avoid? Regardless, nice work!
Dec 9 06:20:00 4m 00s Space Opera Beautiful artwork, good sound, and a really clever interpretation of the theme. Well done!
Dec 9 15:46:00 9h 26m Rememba the Path Fun! Tougher than it looks. Some of the sounds were better than others—the level start sound got on my nerves after a while and the “you won” sound is kind of harsh, but the “you failed” sound and the note progression as you build up a correct chain were much better. Nicely done.
Dec 9 15:56:00 10m 00s Nebula Love the graphics—surprised you’re not asking to be judged on those, it’d be an immediate five-star. Gameplay is fun if a little slow. Good audio as well, very spacey.
Dec 10 05:23:00 13h 27m Leaving Fantastic. Great art and great writing - I really enjoyed the back-and-forth between the characters. Nice work!
Dec 10 05:36:00 13m 00s Myopia Clever take on the theme. Really liked the glowy visuals. The edge-of-the-screen triggers felt a little too harsh, but not insurmountably so. Nice music too.
Dec 10 05:46:00 10m 00s Shapes The shape-matching thing is an interesting idea, but in practice the enemies move too fast to be able to chase them down before the next change. Not bad at all for a first game jam, though - keep it up!
Dec 10 05:52:00 6m 00s Tick Madness Fun; could use some more complicated mechanics, though. It was pretty easy to get the red dots stuck on walls - some more randomness to their movement would help there.
Dec 21 05:06:00 263h 14m A Fine White Line Fantastic! Loved the idea from the get-go. Music and art are stellar. Movement’s a little fiddly, especially trying to get onto the narrow stairs. Very well done.
Dec 21 05:14:00 8m 00s Metal Killer Bee vs. The Gangstas It’s amazing how much fun this is for how simple it looks. Feels like a really good classic arcade game. The click-farther-away-to-go-faster mechanic is clever—adds a bit of depth to it. I agree with the other commenters: this would be fun on a touch screen. If you spent some more time on the graphics and sound this could do very well on the App Store :)
Dec 21 05:19:00 5m 00s Kuch Bhi ! Pretty solid! It would be interesting to be able to shift the ball across your “paddle” instead of having to try to ricochet it. Graphics could use some love, but they get the point across.
