| Dec 8 18:03:00 | A MAZE inc | I like how you implemented the concept. Its kind of like a modern day pac-man. Its got some bugs, but all of our games have bugs because we made them in 48 hours! This game is really well structured compared to a lot of the others i've tried so far. I played it till it crashed and had fun. | |
| Dec 8 18:11:00 | 8m 00s | Snowman Factory | This would be a great game for kids. Loved the graphics. |
| Dec 8 18:18:00 | 7m 00s | Super Dynamite Fighter | My high score was 2!! It might be better if you started easier and worked up to being more difficult |
| Dec 8 18:28:00 | 10m 00s | Owl'd Hurricrash | I like the concept and gave you high points for innovation, but its hard to learn to control. I think you should increase the time it takes to starve, at least at first, to give the player time to learn the controls. |
| Dec 8 18:56:00 | 28m 00s | Boobs Of War | I really didn't think I'd like this game, but I started laughing when I got to the part about how your nipples repel nazis. It turned out to be a surprisingly fun shooter. |
| Dec 9 01:58:00 | 7h 02m | RailGunner | Pretty impressive, especially considering you scrapped 2 ideas. Kinda fun too. My only suggestion would be - I would start out a little easier and gradually get harder. |
| Dec 9 02:08:00 | 10m 00s | ☃s Revenge | I love the concept! And I liked the twist when they reached the side. My little light would go out the right hand side of the screen and get lost once in awhile. Also, I think I got pretty good at it but I still wasn't able to kill every person, they just moved too fast. +1 for SNOWMAN! |
| Dec 9 04:38:00 | 2h 30m | Petite Juliet | Ahhhh all the little bunnies ate my Santa Clause! At least I think that's what was happening. It was really tiny on my screen. This is a good one to score for "mood", I think. |
| Dec 9 04:51:00 | 13m 00s | Blacksmith's Apprentice | Very challenging. You might try making what the blacksmith says easier to see from the far left. The art is really good, and I like the concept you came up with. |
| Dec 9 05:08:00 | 17m 00s | Meteor Stack Attack | The Good: Music was great. I like that it was easy - a good casual game for average people who don't have a lot of video game skill. The challenge is to not get trapped. The bad: I could stand in one place and survive for a really long time. I think it might be more fun if you also added a secondary goal, like trying to hit the blue blocks while avoiding the red. Also, the screen fills up pretty quickly, you might think about adding some exploding blocks to keep taking the levels down and changing them up? |
| Dec 9 05:23:00 | 15m 00s | Amiss | Loved this! It reminded me a little of the Ultima Online game, and little bit of the LOST tv series. Scored this high on innovation and fun. Having the secondary goal of punching in the numbers made it really fun and challenging, and the suicide button was a nice touch. |
| Dec 9 05:36:00 | 13m 00s | Pixel Platform | The pixel was kind of cute. I like that he jumped like a flea. But at my resolution, I could barely see it, and it only flashed some of the time. I think you've got a good concept here, but the controls weren't very consistent. Sometimes the pixel could move without jumping, and sometimes he had to jump to move. He also didn't always jump the same distance, so it was really hard telling where he would end up. So I didn't actually make it very far. But it was fun. I kept trying for quite awhile. |
| Dec 9 05:56:00 | 20m 00s | Resize | There were so many things I love about this game. First of all it has dickbutt in it. Also - the the actual window grows with the game(it filled up both of my monitors) the dead dickbutts that hang around on the screen, being all dead, the sound effects are so incredibly fitting, and also - dickbutt. (it's worth mentioning twice). the bad: the collision detection on the sideways spikes was really touchy, and I didn't finish it, because I couldn't figure out how to get past that one part without dying. There were dead dickbutts everywhere. I'd love to see this game play-reviewed by someone on you-tube. That would make my day. |
| Dec 9 18:29:00 | 12h 33m | Spokey - Hockey in Space | I'm so bad at this game that I didn't have anyone to play with, and I still almost lost. I could see this being a fun party game, if you could port it over to a console. |
| Dec 9 18:44:00 | 15m 00s | Unnamed Game | In theory it sounds a little like Age of Empires without the war. In practice, there wasn't much to do but move around press B. But making any game at all in 26 hours is a pretty impressive feat. It worked well and didn't have any bugs. |
| Dec 9 19:28:00 | 44m 00s | BoxGuy | LOL, I kept dying at the alligator level, and finally my boss walked in my office and caught me playing games. So I shamefully confessed what I was doing and he said "that looks easy." So, yay! I'm not in trouble! I'm definitely going to try again later. This is fun. Great job on the game mechanics - it has everything a lot of the other platformers lack - like rewards, and increasing difficulty. Plus, a box that runs around jumping on birds and springy things is kind of funny. |
| Dec 11 02:48:00 | 31h 20m | Train Time | I like the idea, and didn't have any of the problems some of the others had - my rails snapped right into place, switches worked just fine. +1 for well programmed. The only problem is that, if I wanted, I could make a loop, let it run, and come back in an hour to lots of money. I think you need some mechanics that give it some risk and challenge. For instance, maybe you could do something like make the player balance passenger "missions" with freight "missions" in order to optimize profit. Maybe stations would have to close if the train didn't make it on time. That type of thing. |
