| Aug 25 02:45:00 | Orbital Kombat | Had sound, which is a plus. The music was unpleasant; just a repeating bass beat. Interesting concepts of planets battling each other, but I didn't really get the "connected" part of "connected worlds". Controls are awkward, having to play with one hand. | |
| Aug 25 02:53:00 | 8m 00s | Voxel Ville | So I guess it's pre-alpha Minecraft from way back in the day, minus the terrain. Not very creative, but impressive that you did this in 48 hours. |
| Aug 25 03:14:00 | 21m 00s | Abstrakt | Very hard on the eyes! But the "twist" at the end caught me by surprised, and I realized I didn't even notice what was going on. Very clever! |
| Aug 25 03:28:00 | 14m 00s | Stratera | Very simple graphics, but very aesthetically pleasing. I liked the overall concept, and I could definitely imagine this being expanded upon. It was tricky to figure out some of the logic behind where things should go. |
| Aug 25 03:43:00 | 15m 00s | Nomoj | Great music! Nice and atmospheric, very eerie. Neat color scheme giving an otherworldly sort of look, but I couldn't tell what any of the sprites were supposed to be. The gameplay unfortunately didn't really evolve through the levels, so I actually had an easier time at the end than the earlier levels. |
| Aug 25 03:50:00 | 7m 00s | PhotoWorlds | Interesting concept, but as stated in the public comment, the "view photo" feature doesn't work, so this isn't playable in its current state. I wonder what this could turn into with some polish. |
| Aug 25 04:17:00 | 27m 00s | Planestroller | That was pretty fun! Repetitive but decent music, fit the ambiance well. The last stage was tough, but I persevered. I didn't notice any glaring flaws, and the difficulty ramped up nicely. Great job. |
| Aug 25 04:26:00 | 9m 00s | Portal Quest | Not very attractive, and it's too easy to get stuck in walls. I even accidentally walked through the edge wall once and got stuck. Interesting concept though, but everything kinda looks the same. |
| Aug 25 22:14:00 | 17h 48m | zombies you Going down | Hmmm. Chrome reports this as malicious; can't download it. |
| Aug 25 22:19:00 | 5m 00s | 2connected | The application was unable to start correctly (0xc000007b). Click OK to close the application. |
| Aug 25 22:41:00 | 22m 00s | LD30 God Game | It's very pretty, especially at night. However, I can't really rate this very highly due to the lack of meaningful interaction. I can appreciate the incorporation of the theme, though. It took me a bit to figure it out, but then it clicked. |
| Aug 26 04:34:00 | 5h 53m | Flicker | Wow! This was really a lot of fun! Got a score of 30.
I loved the audio. The sound effects were perfect. The sounds of the red thing caused great tension and increased the likelihood of rushing and making a mistake.
I did manage to understand how to play right from the start; I felt it was very intuitive, unlike my own submission perhaps, haha.
Excellent work, especially in 48 hours. |
| Aug 26 04:47:00 | 13m 00s | Waterfly Octus | That was a lot of fun, but goodness the difficulty of some of those obstacles was a little harsh! I did make it all the way through the end of Level 4 though.
I loved the sprite work and your palettes for the most part, but Level 4's stage colors were a bit hard on the eyes.
The music was obviously rushed, but what short amount there was sounded pretty good. Nice sound effects.
I understood collecting the stars, and I instinctively did so, but they don't appear to do anything. Kind of odd. Then again, 48 Hour Compo! |
| Aug 26 04:57:00 | 10m 00s | Disconnect the worlds | Very nifty game. I felt pleased when I realized the connection between keycards and doors, and their positions. Fairly easy boss fights, but the regular enemies were frighteningly deadly due to their high speed. Yikes!
Perfect use of Theme. |
| Aug 26 05:32:00 | 35m 00s | Planetary Hack | Captured all planets. It was decent, but it became a little tedious as I went on. But thank goodness for the hotkeys.
As you progress, numbers get bigger, but so can yours, so the gameplay doesn't really seem to get any harder. Just takes longer.
Good use of theme, though. |
| Aug 26 05:45:00 | 13m 00s | SHIT RUNNER | Hahahahahahha. Hahahahhahaa.
Okay, the sound, the music, the shock value, that's just perfect. Didn't expect to enjoy playing this from the screenshots, but it's worth it.
33 seconds! woohoo! |
| Aug 26 06:03:00 | 18m 00s | elemens | Pretty super for 48 hours! I enjoyed the art style and the feeling of exploration. The zombie thing utterly destroyed me the first time though, and I never did figure out if it was beatable. I reached the "end", fully enjoyed it. Thank you for making and sharing. |
| Aug 26 06:17:00 | 14m 00s | UltraRealistic Moon Wrecking Ball Simulator | I'm sorry. My "security settings have blocked an untrusted application from running", and I couldn't figure out how to fix it, so I wasn't able to play this. |
| Aug 26 06:44:00 | 27m 00s | gravity | The effect of the gravity flip was a bit sudden and jerky, and it took me a bit to figure out what had happened. Not much content, but it was overall fairly relaxing. Didn't care for the music though. Wasn't sure if shooting red cubes was supposed to do anything. |
| Aug 26 07:09:00 | 25m 00s | Lava Is Last | The stage name/hint was so small and out of the way, I lost the game on level 4 several times before I noticed it. Whoops!
Real voice acting! |
| Aug 26 07:25:00 | 16m 00s | Interplanetary Harvester | Clever little puzzle game. In the first stage I wasn't sure what I was supposed to do at first, but I re-read the game description, and it made more sense. Then I enjoyed the rest of the game. |
| Aug 26 07:33:00 | 8m 00s | Inverted | Endless Runner | Aside from the die-for-no-reason bug, that's pretty fun! I think it can be a little tricky sometimes to tell what's a power-up and what's an obstacle. The music sounds a little harsh, but the sound effects are nice. Overall, I liked it. |
| Aug 26 07:40:00 | 7m 00s | Tangled Mini Worlds | Pretty fun. It was a little tricky to control though; you need to hold right mouse button to move the camera, but right click kept bringing up a context menu. Otherwise, pretty fun! I played it to the end. |
| Aug 26 07:52:00 | 12m 00s | A Tale of Two Megacities | Once I noticed the Help button in the city planning phase, everything fell together, and I enjoyed the short 6 minutes I spent with this game from start to finish. Quite amusing. Lovely music. |
| Aug 26 18:57:00 | 11h 05m | Please Hold | That was delightfully maddening. I laughed several times! The music was very well-chosen, at first sounding relaxing, but gave the impression of having subtly condescending undertones as things progressed. Great job. |
| Aug 26 20:26:00 | 1h 29m | Journey Home | The feeling of exploring some worlds is kinda nice, though the endlessly looping music(?) got old quickly. It's a shame the creatures didn't seem to interact with the character, and I was a little confused about being able to apparently walk through water and lava. It was nice how the last level shook things up a bit by having you navigate the maze-like terrain. |
| Aug 27 03:09:00 | 6h 43m | Song of the Dodo | Pretty funny silly game. poor birds! I liked the island. I wished there was more to do than avoid dying. Maybe get some collectibles or something to make it worth running into risky areas. |
| Aug 27 03:19:00 | 10m 00s | Rosewood Crag | Haha train! From out of nowhere! That was great.
For the style you were going for, the graphics were good. The sound effects were nice; they didn't annoy me, which is huge.
My big gripe is enemies moving at the same speed as you and clinging to your x position making it impossible to move away into an advantageous position in many cases. I'd often get stuck on top or beneath one with no way to get out, and just watch my health slowly deplete. Oh I guess I could have dashed. Still made me feel a little too powerless though, I dunno. Overall pretty cool. |
| Aug 27 03:54:00 | 35m 00s | Ghostnet | Hi! I played all the way through. That was some great music! I especially liked the guitar tune. It was easy to just zen out and before I knew it I was finished. It's good for what it is; if it were a bigger game, it would definitely need something else to do. But I enjoyed my time with your game. Thank you. |
