| Apr 29 16:23:00 | Demon Shanker 2 | Fun for a while, but I ended up taking swigs and not revealing anyone. Does it only reveal people who are on the screen at the time? | |
| Apr 29 16:37:00 | 14m 00s | iRiS | Took me a while to figure out what to do (match the colours) but it's fun, and the music is great |
| Apr 29 16:43:00 | 6m 00s | It's An Invasion!!! | This is a lot of fun! It has a good feel to it |
| Apr 29 16:50:00 | 7m 00s | Mining Tycoon | I got 8829 :) It's interesting to see a game done entirely with Windows Forms! |
| Apr 29 16:56:00 | 6m 00s | Escape to the Surface | This is really hard, a lot of the time it seems like the platforms you need to grapple to are off the top of the screen |
| Apr 29 17:07:00 | 11m 00s | Underline | A lovely game, but really hard! I only got as far as the blocks which drop away under you. Also, if you fall to the left at the beginning of the level, you can fall outside the game world |
| Apr 29 17:11:00 | 4m 00s | Olm | Looks very nice! It seems a bit easy though, and I quickly reached a point where there were no more stalactites to grab onto |
| Apr 29 17:18:00 | 7m 00s | Surf Ace | The sounds are funny, but there's not a lot to do... |
| Apr 29 17:23:00 | 5m 00s | Don't fly in the Mine! | Simple, but fun! |
| May 6 07:40:00 | 158h 17m | Cemetery Secretary | This is great! The art style is well done, and it's full of character. I like how the different things you find require different strategies to deal with. |
| May 6 08:02:00 | 22m 00s | Pyramid Escape | Very atmospheric! I like the little intro, and exploring is fun. It is easy to get lost though! |
| May 12 07:49:00 | 143h 47m | Worm Quest | Very good! |
| May 12 08:01:00 | 12m 00s | Shovel Quest | This is great! It's fun to play and there is a good progression of difficulty. It's packed with humour too! |
| May 13 07:46:00 | 23h 45m | Planet Builder | An interesting idea, but perhaps the "packing items to fit beneath the surface" idea would have been better without using physics. Also, when you rotate the camera it seems to change the direction in which objects move when dragged, are they using world coordinates? |
| May 13 07:59:00 | 13m 00s | Greed for Gems | This looks very nice, and has a lot to it. I didn't realise until I read the comments that I could collect the red gems and buy things with them. Also I had a few problems with jumping, sometimes I would jump sideways but lose all momentum and just fall straight down, and sometimes when I landed it would just keep running in the same direction unless I interrupted by placing a torch. |
| May 13 08:15:00 | 16m 00s | Beneath The Memories | Very good game, the narration twists and turns all over the place! I was having real difficulty with the controls though, jumping would often completely stop my sideways movement, which made the ending impossible |
| May 14 08:05:00 | 23h 50m | Sail | Good fun, clearly inspired by Wind Waker. Enjoyed the subtle zelda references. Got 5/6 treasures but struggled to find enough fish at the end, so couldn't get the last map. Well put together. |
| May 14 08:06:00 | 1m 00s | Infection | Very impressive entry, high levels of polish in all areas, particularly the sounds & graphics. It was sometimes difficult to tell what was going on as the screen would get very busy between my weapons, turrets, and enemies. Very impressive work! |
| May 19 07:24:00 | 119h 18m | Beneath the Surface | Almost impossible. Not sure if it's just running too fast on my computer or something, but the skeletons essentially go from idle to killing me in a single frame, making combat a roll of the dice. Looks fantastic, wish I could spend more time enjoying the graphics, but too repetitive from the instant random death. |
| May 19 07:25:00 | 1m 00s | The Sun And Moon | Great looking game, and amazing feeling to the controls, they feel so solid and tactical. Clever use of the core mechanic to make a ton of puzzles. Great stuff. Only downside - the music is good but far too short, so the loop gets very repetitive. |
| May 19 07:26:00 | 1m 00s | Bornard | Strange and enthralling, a bizzare tale of...something. I really enjoyed the visuals and audio, and the whole atmosphere of it. Great stuff. |
| May 19 07:36:00 | 10m 00s | Toxic Below | Very good! It is challenging, but that's part of the appeal :) It did crash on my Windows 8 machine though, just after I'd collected all the waste from the level in which there are multiple pools. I do like the sound effects and the slurping animation.

Also I made a linux version of my game for you (the daring adventures of the blob) |
| May 19 07:54:00 | 18m 00s | You're Pulleying My Leg | Great game! It's amazing how you can get something so thought-provoking out of such simple graphics and mechanics |
| May 19 08:02:00 | 8m 00s | Cave under The Surface | Hopefully next time you will be able to get the mechanics done quicker, then have time left for gameplay :)

Van Gogh could be called an artist or a painter |
| May 19 13:34:00 | 5h 32m | PCB Racer | Lo-fi and crunchy racing game. Nice concept of a micro-scale racer. Audio and visuals are definitely in your face! Nice distraction for a few minutes, could do with more longevity. |
| May 19 13:36:00 | 2m 00s | Beneath The Surface | Simple but satisfyingly challenging. Predicting the movement of the lower layers is fun, and the graphical polish is good. Could really do with some music and maybe some extra levels with more variety. |
| May 19 13:37:00 | 1m 00s | Where Is My Bone? | The art style and animation for this game is fantastic, and the backstory and the way you discover it is great once you get into it. My main gripe is the way the puzzles are set up. It seems the only way to solve a puzzle is through trial and error - get a random scent, dig in random locations until you find something. I was hoping that a scent would give you a visual trail or audio hint or some sort of clue to indicate the correct place to dig. As it is, I just got frustrated and went straight to the walk-through. It's a shame because the aesthetic is so strong. Could definitely do with some background music or environmental garden/house sounds. |
| May 19 13:38:00 | 1m 00s | Killer Without Color | Good concept but unfortunately incomplete as a game. Chasing and grabbing the seals in satisfying, but there really should be some sort of time pressure or progression to add longevity. Leaping to grab seals on the ice flows is cool, as is being able to smash the ice. After a while I can't find any more seals - I guess they've probably swam to the bottom somewhere but there's no indicator as to which direction to go, leaving you swimming around with nothing happening. |
| May 19 13:38:00 | 0s | Hot Diggity | What can I say, this is by far the best entry I've personally seen - it's addictive, slick and amazingly complete considering it's done in 48 hours by one person! There isn't much to criticize here - I suppose the art on some of the elements such as the devourer looks slightly out of place with the crunchy pixel art look of everything else, but that is nitpicking really. The game balance seems to massively favour lasers but they're fun as hell to use. You definitely get a lot of re-playability out of the modular nature of the digger. There is lots of potential to extend this game by adding an "end level" boss that would allow you to escape to the next planet (exploding the current one? That'd be epic) where you'd get new modules and biomes. Basically this just feels like an actual game as opposed to an incomplete demo, which really gives it a strength beyond the individual parts. That said, the music in particular stands out for me :) |
| May 19 20:53:00 | 7h 15m | The Deep | A fun game! The sprites look nice too. I do like how it gets darker the deeper you go |
| May 19 21:00:00 | 7m 00s | Germaniac | Very funny! |
