| Aug 27 03:34:00 | De Bomb Da Bomb | Well done! Really nice graphics and audio. BTW I tried this first in Safari and it wasn't ideal (no audio and blurry graphics) but then I tried it in Chrome and it worked great. | |
| Aug 27 03:55:00 | 21m 00s | Deep | Beautiful visuals, good audio that really fits the mood (no one got credit for the audio? :) ), interesting Inception-like gameplay. I got stuck pretty quickly though... I would immediately go to the third level and get both clocks, but I couldn't figure out how to get past that giant bird (if it's even possible) and if I went up a level I couldn't clear the platforming in the second layer fast enough. I think the platforming might be improved a bit if the player character were smaller. |
| Aug 27 04:04:00 | 9m 00s | Duel | Well done! Fun RPS-like gameplay. Also I'm amazed to see online multiplayer in a Ludum Dare entry. Since I'm guessing most people are playing and rating games alone, that's a killer feature for a multiplayer-only game. |
| Aug 27 04:29:00 | 25m 00s | The Stuffuv | Really well done. The action element of the match-lighting mechanic adds some variety and tension too which is great. |
| Aug 27 04:38:00 | 9m 00s | GLITCH | This is super impressive. I'm going to have to check out some more of your games :) |
| Aug 27 04:49:00 | 11m 00s | Run, Bun, Run! | Great audio and really charming overall. :) I love how the metal kicks in and the bunny's eyes turn red when in frenzy, nice touch.

BTW, I got stuck on the second screen of instructions (starting with "Fight bosses with POWER UPS...") and I had to reload my browser and start over, but it was no big deal and I was able to figure it out from there. |
| Aug 27 04:53:00 | 4m 00s | Decay | Yeah, I'm getting a 404 error too and I'm in the US, in the same city as the Dropbox offices :) |
| Aug 27 05:08:00 | 15m 00s | Hot Dawg Dash | Hmmm, is it supposed to tell you when time's up? I can't tell when the 10 seconds are up (or when they begin) and it seems like I can just keep eating hot dogs forever. If there's something I'm missing let me know and I'll try it again! |
| Aug 27 05:13:00 | 5m 00s | Little Ninja Guy | Pretty cool! Gave me some Beatmania flashbacks. :) I agree with RARoadkill, it would have been nice for the letters to turn green instead of red when entered correctly. |
| Aug 27 05:15:00 | 2m 00s | Ten Seconds to Death | Hmmm, all I see is a "Source" link and it's not obvious if I can play it from the GitHub page... am I missing something? I'll check back later. |
| Aug 27 05:25:00 | 10m 00s | Real Life Simulator | I'm not okay with you just grabbing music from others without permission since it's against the rules and the spirit of the whole thing, though maybe things are more lax in the jam vs. the compo? Nice graphics though. |
| Aug 27 05:39:00 | 14m 00s | Attack of the n00b Models | Circle strafe circle strafe circle strafe

Those little Wall-E's are vicious, and the soothing elevator music was a fine choice. |
| Aug 27 05:55:00 | 16m 00s | Chronodrive | Wow, impressive stuff! I don't think I've played a shmup where you don't have a gun before. I like how the abilities complement each other: grabbing a bullet with Z and then using S to teleport forward and slam it into the boss was satisfying. Nice NES chiptune too (or at least it sounds like an NES). This is probably the best in terms of gameplay that I've played so far. BTW the music cut out for me when I got to the boss and it didn't come back when I started over from the beginning, but it's no big deal. |
| Aug 27 06:07:00 | 12m 00s | 10seconds2Earth | I like the idea of limited bullets in a shmup since for most games of this type you just keep the fire button held down (or mash on it) for the whole game, and the alien leader taunting you is a nice touch. It would have been nice if the enemy ships would damage you though, it seems as if the player is invincible? |
| Aug 27 06:11:00 | 4m 00s | The Grind: 10 Seconds at a Time | It looks nice from the screenshot and I'd love to give it a try, and I do use a Mac, but when I opened the .zip I got a .cpgz file and I'm not sure how to use it. Is there an app I need to get to open it? I'll check back later :) |
| Aug 27 06:17:00 | 6m 00s | Alien Attack | I really like the idea of a game building itself from a paper prototype as you play, and I don't think I've seen that before. Nice work! |
| Aug 27 06:29:00 | 12m 00s | Hunger Clock, Literally | Well done! The little chirp when you hit a spike is adorable and the gameplay is well-designed. Definitely one of the better games I've played so far. |
| Aug 27 06:38:00 | 9m 00s | 10 Seconds To Win | Congrats on your first game! Unfortunately I seem to be hitting a bug where at a random point in the game (it was different every time) my character's jumps would only go half as high and then I wouldn't be able to jump over the enemies anymore, so I'd have to start over. It's pretty fun though and I wish I could play more of it. |
| Aug 27 06:52:00 | 14m 00s | Dig Dream | Really nice visuals! I like the concept but in its current form it's a little easy to just take the top route and run forever. Also, sound effects (even some rudimentary ones) would have been nice to have too. But overall it's pretty nice, good job! |
| Aug 27 06:59:00 | 7m 00s | Cherry Bomber | You make it look so easy in that instructional video. :) I tried again and I still couldn't land the bomb just right. Nice visuals though. |
| Aug 27 07:06:00 | 7m 00s | Temple | Oh man that camera shake got to me after a little while. :) Nice work, great visuals. Some audio would have been nice and I think it would have helped to have a countdown timer on screen but it's really polished otherwise. |
| Aug 27 07:13:00 | 7m 00s | Hurry UP! | Pretty cool, I like the character design. I hit the same bug as asc3nsion where after a run or two the items would stop appearing. Also it was unclear to me what the items were doing... "+2:00" makes sense, it adds 2 seconds to the clock but I couldn't tell if "+2" also adds two seconds or if it does something else. |
| Aug 28 05:25:00 | 22h 12m | Are you? | That's an impressive amount of content for a 48 hour entry (especially for your first game) and a nice story that kept me engaged for the whole time. Nice work! |
| Aug 28 06:05:00 | 40m 00s | Juu Byo | Wow that is a compelling summary paragraph. How could anyone read that and not want to play it? Funniest thing I've seen yet. |
| Aug 28 06:53:00 | 48m 00s | Orction House Panic | Probably the best audio I've heard so far. It was pretty unclear to me when I was supposed to poke, but no one else in the comments has had trouble yet so maybe I'm an outlier. :) |
| Aug 28 07:14:00 | 21m 00s | 1.863 million miles | I giggled at "Kep Tein" and the self-referential ending. The side-on perspective for a spaceship is interesting and the visuals are nice too. |
| Aug 28 07:28:00 | 14m 00s | Mr. Buttons is pure evil(Mr. buttons cruel plan) | I laughed out loud at the ending screen, nice work :) |
| Aug 28 07:51:00 | 23m 00s | The Duellists | Well-designed gameplay with difficulty that felt just right for me, and the graphics are incredibly polished. I like how the names and text complemented the setting too, it's consistent throughout. One of my favorites so far, nice work! |
| Aug 28 07:53:00 | 2m 00s | Yea | This is a really interesting world you've got here. I'll have to check out some more of your games :) |
| Aug 29 05:30:00 | 21h 37m | Ten Seconds to Meltdown | Pretty good! The jumping physics are pretty unique and the instant restart eases the pain of the high difficulty. I'd prefer if the camera were centered on the player since I felt pretty nearsighted, and the blind leaps of faith on the final level are just mean, but I did finish :) |
| Aug 29 05:36:00 | 6m 00s | Picto-Tel | I wish more people were online playing, this is pretty cool! |
| Aug 29 05:44:00 | 8m 00s | Sleep Well | Nice work, and educational! I didn't mind the slow movement. It feels a little like soccer/football. |
| Aug 30 03:29:00 | 21h 45m | Invasion of the GooseNappers | Personally I'm with the aliens, I think geese could use another natural predator. They really have their run of the golf courses around where I grew up.

Seriously though, fun game! The switch between offense and defense is pretty unique. |
| Aug 30 03:49:00 | 20m 00s | Run Buddy | Sorry but I was having a unplayably low framerate in both Safari and Chrome on my machine. Not sure why that would be but no one else in the comments has mentioned it yet so maybe I'm an outlier... |
| Aug 30 04:31:00 | 42m 00s | FSCK - A Hard Drive Story | Great audio and unique gameplay. I don't think I've seen anything like those look mechanics before. |
| Sep 1 01:43:00 | 45h 12m | Shuttle Quest | I love the feel of this, the acceleration/deceleration and movement feels really natural. The super smooth animation (I'm guessing this is 60 fps?) is great for that too. Nice work! |
| Sep 1 02:12:00 | 29m 00s | The Monkey Escape | Interesting concept! At first it wasn't clear to me what the difference was between the up arrow and the up arrow with the line underneath, but once I tried them I figured it out, so it wasn't a big deal. |
| Sep 1 02:19:00 | 7m 00s | Haraka | Pretty fun! I like the checkpoint system. I think it would be even more fun if the collision detection were a bit more forgiving when colliding with spikes but overall this is nice. |
| Sep 7 00:40:00 | 142h 21m | Explosive Laser Farm | Pretty funny! The title definitely caught my eye. I'll echo zedutchgandalf, the Mac version is a little wonky, right click doesn't seem to shoot and even though I can hear coins being collected, my coins count never goes above 0. It's a shame because I wanted to see what it would be like with upgrades. :) |
| Sep 7 01:19:00 | 39m 00s | Justin Time | That was fantastic! Definite 5 for humor, and nothing makes me tense up like time limits AND math puzzles. |
| Sep 10 03:58:00 | 74h 39m | Terminal 10 | Nice work! Definite five stars for humor and I'm a fan of "figure out these mechanics in five seconds GO!" types of games. Like a bunch of the other commenters I mashed the arrow keys to win the final segment. :) I wonder if the game could punish you for too many failed inputs, to prevent cheating? |
| Sep 12 02:27:00 | 46h 29m | TIME SHIFTER | Wow! I don't know how you did this in just 48 hours. Not just impressive from an audio/visual perspective but with well-designed puzzle mechanics too. One of the best LD entries this time, I'd say. |
| Sep 14 03:41:00 | 49h 14m | KunoNoOni's Magical Star Saga | Nice work, it's pretty fun and polished, and the music's really not bad :) |
| Sep 14 08:01:00 | 4h 20m | A Love Story | Nice work! I like the setting, the music is a nice choice and the illustrations are well-done too. |
| Sep 14 08:11:00 | 10m 00s | Cube of quads | Pretty funny stuff, the music hits the right mood. :) Though I'm with CMaster, if you didn't make the music that would be against the rules. If you *did* make the music, consider this a compliment. |
