| Apr 29 12:13:00 | Be The Wind | Really loved this. Very relaxing and pretty. | |
| Apr 29 12:17:00 | 4m 00s | Placeholder Title | It started off quite fun, I like the graphics, but overall it felt a little too hard for me - reminiscent of games from my childhood! Would love to see a balanced/tweaked version that's easier to play :) |
| Apr 29 12:28:00 | 11m 00s | silly squares | I really liked this! It was a little too hard for me (I gave up on the last level, the Gauntlet) but I liked some of the ideas and you had some cool stuff going on with the messages/narration. Some thoughts:

1. Some of the tests are a little too tight (the second level is very hard even though it's the first one you can die on.

2. If you die with the red powerup, you still have it when you respawn, don't know if that's a bug.

Nice game! Well done. |
| Apr 29 13:20:00 | 52m 00s | Mondrian Makes a Million | I really love Mondrian, and these divide-the-space games. A few things were odd - the division logic seemed weird, sometimes it would divide another area than I seemed to be marking out. Second, it was interest (but also initially confusing) that the area marked out wasn't related to the score like this genre of games normally. Still loved it though. Here's one of my masterpieces: http://imgur.com/i8a3OHE |
| Apr 29 13:27:00 | 7m 00s | GridANT | I loved the idea but I couldn't get much out of it, unfortunately. I thought it was innovative but the controls weren't quite intuitive enough, and it seemed like it was possible to get yourself into an unwinnable state (by filling in the top-level holes and consuming the sugar). I might be wrong.

nice work though. Looked quite nice and novel idea! |
| Apr 29 13:33:00 | 6m 00s | Player Block Door | Really cute game. Took some thinking to work out and I didn't finish it (got stuck on the level that looped top to bottom). I also cheated on one of the levels because there's a bug - if you press restart, your first jump is a double jump. I felt bad but I really couldn't work out the solution! :) |
| Apr 29 13:38:00 | 5m 00s | Frankslist | Loved it! Great idea, a bit fiddly to play but I enjoyed reading the descriptions of the items so much. |
| Apr 29 13:44:00 | 6m 00s | Paradox | I got the gun but couldn't figure what else to do :( However, great production values on the intro! Really loved it. Hope you can manage to come back to this and finish it off. |
| Apr 29 13:48:00 | 4m 00s | Skater Sketcher | Link is currently broken for the web version! |
| Apr 29 13:52:00 | 4m 00s | llab | Loved it. Simple, short, but very fun. Would play more levels just for the feel of bouncing around. Add some particle effects and cool backgrounds and yeah, a cute game in the works. |
| Apr 29 13:55:00 | 3m 00s | Dngncrwlr | Loved it. Great concept, well executed. |
| Apr 29 14:04:00 | 9m 00s | Mrazish | Bizarre but cool. Nice artwork! |
| Apr 29 14:05:00 | 1m 00s | Paint It Black | Non-XNA link is broken at the moment. :( |
| Apr 29 14:11:00 | 6m 00s | Tower of Pixel | Absolutely brilliant. Really zen feel to it, loved the writing, the music arrangement and zoning, the weird complexity of the mechanics that seem simple at first. Can't wait to go back to this and get stuck into it. |
| Apr 29 15:28:00 | 1h 17m | Nod | This is a hilarious idea. CAn't wait to get home and play it. |
| Apr 29 16:29:00 | 1h 01m | Compositions | Another Mondrian game! I love it. Love this style so much, am glad to see it featuring in Ludum Dare. This has similar mechanics to another game I played but I think (not wishing to be harsh on the other one) that I prefer this implementation. Tighter, brighter, and the output feels more Mondrian-like. Very nice. |
| Apr 29 16:31:00 | 2m 00s | m i n i m a l i s m | Yeah, I think you need separate hosting. If you don't have hosting, I'd be happy to host it for you - email me mike @ gamesbyangelina.org |
| Apr 29 16:32:00 | 1m 00s | Minimalism Experience | Hey, can you tag your Application link as Windows, not application? Looking forward to trying this when I get home to my windows pc! |
| Apr 29 16:35:00 | 3m 00s | temporary-babel2D | For some reason I had a grin on my face the whole time - I was awful at it but I really loved the craziness of the concept, the physicality of it, and the falling blocks destroying everything I attempted! Good work, really nice toygamething. |
| Apr 29 16:47:00 | 12m 00s | ITTEN | Loved it. Really loved it. Superb audio - excellent use of sound effects for jumping. I loved the mechanic, and I noticed myself really becoming patient and focusing on each jump. Played it to completion, a few jumps felt a bit unfair but please take this mechanic and work with it in future! I'd love a more rhythm-based thing with it, perhaps an endless runner where you charge and time jumps or something. Excellent aesthetics, really enjoyed it. |
| Apr 29 16:58:00 | 11m 00s | The Painter's Cat | Liked this a lot - runs lovely on my Macbook by the way - I enjoyed the musical beats from bisecting the world a lot, too. I wish it didn't close when you died! I wanted to reattempt it right away. Played it a few times though, really enjoyed it. Well done! |
| Apr 29 17:11:00 | 13m 00s | Do you want a Mint? | Eesh, how big is the download? 60mb and still going! If you cna get a smaller download working too (maybe a 'minimal' version with fewer music files etc.) maybe that would help? Looking forward to playing it though. |
| Apr 29 17:26:00 | 15m 00s | sigillum | Pretty nice! Stellar use of audio, very minimal gameplay, feel like you possibly would've preferred a death/afterlife theme ;) but I loved it anyway. Made me jump at least once (you sod!) and cool atmosphere and ending. |
| Apr 29 17:28:00 | 2m 00s | Unstoppable Conqueror Love Loot | This is a nice twist on the endless runner schtick - I liked balancing killing with not killing. My only suggestion, to make it a bit more challenging, would be to make it so you can't move left and right while holding up or down. That way you have to position yourself to avoid the vertical enemies. Great idea, though! |
| Apr 29 17:31:00 | 3m 00s | Cube Run | Nice mood here, and the minimalism in the graphics works to the game's benefit I think. Possibly too many things going on for an endless runner, and the jumping felt hard to predict, but I still enjoyed it a bunch. |
| Apr 29 18:20:00 | 49m 00s | Subtract | This now works on 10.8 MacOS, for me anyway. I enjoyed it! Not sure how I feel about it overall, I think a delay at the end of each stage would help me know whether I'd done well or found the shape, etc. I really like the idea though. Nice work! |
| Apr 29 18:24:00 | 4m 00s | A | I like the idea! Quite tricky, the scoring system seemed right, and you nailed the theme. Cute! |
| Apr 29 18:25:00 | 1m 00s | BareBones | Yep! Same here. Looking forward to taking a look once you fix it :) |
| Apr 29 18:27:00 | 2m 00s | Frying Pan RP | Thought the graphics were quite nice (love the colouring) and the blend of RPG combat and typing test is cool! The battles went on for a bit too long for my taste, but it was fun nonetheless. |
| Apr 29 18:30:00 | 3m 00s | Nest | Not sure if it's a bug or not but - if you 'die' on the nest you can still rest and even feed your babies. Digging it so far! |
| Apr 29 20:10:00 | 1h 40m | CUBEBIA | It's a cute prototype, I hope you get to extend it! |
| Apr 29 20:23:00 | 13m 00s | Simple Difficulties | Enjoyed this very much! Very cute, smooth controls too. :) Music was quite a shock though! |
| Apr 30 19:35:00 | 23h 12m | Cube Labyrinth | Cute game, nice simple concept. Wasn't entirely clear what was losing me health at some points, but okay nonetheless! |
| Apr 30 19:37:00 | 2m 00s | Only One Shot | It tells me i'm "missing required files", not sure if that's me or XNA? |
| Apr 30 19:39:00 | 2m 00s | Minimalist | Any chance of a compiled executable? |
| Apr 30 19:43:00 | 4m 00s | Too Minimal? | Totally fun! I agree with Jarcas. Great effort, loved the jumping and wireframe art. |
| Apr 30 19:46:00 | 3m 00s | Gasoline Quest | Very cute little entry. Needs some additional structure, maybe sticking to the track space or something, and a score system, but a nice starter. Well done! |
| May 3 19:50:00 | 72h 04m | hedraSeed | Loved this. One of my favourite Minimalist games so far! |
| May 4 01:25:00 | 5h 35m | Chromatater | Yes! This has so much potential. That last level was GREAT. Please extend this with more levels and complete it. Wonderful. |
| May 4 01:28:00 | 3m 00s | .Dot | Lovely graphics - not sure what the twist was? Second level very hard. I'd swap the position of that and the third level maybe, or switch elements around. |
| May 4 01:36:00 | 8m 00s | Through the Woods | Lovely! Very simple, delightful graphics. |
| May 4 01:40:00 | 4m 00s | Budget Squad | Wonderful. Great graphics and audio, nice core mechanic. I think for a fuller game you'd need to rethink the dependencies. I would also love me some co-op. |
| May 12 16:11:00 | 206h 31m | Minimalism | The game is still 404'ing! :( |
| May 12 22:39:00 | 6h 28m | Kipple | Lovely ideas, and the tech writeup was very interesting. Good work! |
| May 12 22:43:00 | 4m 00s | The March | The theme is beautiful, although the gameplay was a bit tricky. Would like to see it developed further though! |
| May 12 22:47:00 | 4m 00s | Tale of MiniMale | Lovely idea with the variables and ending. |
| May 17 00:29:00 | 97h 42m | Gods Will Be Watching | Utterly brilliant. Best entry I've seen so far, enjoyed every second of it. |
| May 17 00:33:00 | 4m 00s | Erase | This was pretty fun! I wasn't sure why there was a minimum elements to be destroyed - why not let us be creative and reach solutions faster? But I enjoyed the aesthetic a lot and the ideas in there. |
| May 17 00:42:00 | 9m 00s | Mondrian Click | Nice! Very simple, but really well put together. |
