Sure, some tips are given, but to someone who isn't in the mood to delve deep into what it all means, this game is plain boring. <br/>The graphics and effects are kind of cool though. | |
| Dec 18 18:04:00 | 10m 00s | A small village | Here are a few things I found could be somehow fixed: <br/>The camera controls - The mouse is still there, and if you ever let it leave the screen and then click... well.. you know. It's annoying. <br/>A sense of purpose - I had no idea what I was doing. At first, I read the text and was like: Okay, which one of these ten dudes is he? And then when I killed all of them, the message changed to tell me to find the king. So I wondered: Where is he? I couldn't find it, and after a few more minutes attempting to, I just gave up. Why was I doing all of this anyway? Who am I? No purpose, no backbone to the story. <br/> <br/>And in the end, I just couldn't find the experience enjoyable. |

The gameplay is extremely simplistic. There is no difficulty; you can just hold Z after starting and win automatically. The graphics are ugly and unclear - you don't know who you are, you don't know what that thing on the side of the screen is, you don't know what those things flying past you are, you have no idea how much life you have left (I assume the bar at the top is for that, but it's too small and hidden to read during gameplay). There's no music or sound (not even a simple pew-pew-pew shooting sound), which is often essential feedback on sidescrolling shooters and would be very useful in this game. The victory screen is sudden, ugly, underwhelming and doesn't really give the player a victorious feeling." <br/> <br/> <br/>I'm sorry dude, but the game is too... I don't know, not enough in any aspect. I have no idea what making a game alone in 48 hours alone is like, but nothing in this game seems right or good. |

I like the whole "crazy driver" thing, it's funny and the stupid amount of bonuses in the screen makes this game even crazier. It reminds me of Katamari Damacy! <br/> <br/>But there's things that need improvement: Some sounds would be nice. Really simple ones, that you can find for free on the internet would definitely make the game 200% more fun, a nice song would do the trick even. <br/>The graphics are okay, but then I'm reminded that this game was made in two days by one guy and then the graphics are pretty awesome. <br/>Also the land mine kind of breaks the game in a sense, but it's all good. That's what the reset button is for. <br/>I don't really see the theme much in it, but I suppose the Noby Noby Boy homage makes up for it. <br/> <br/>Good job man, and great game! |

Just aiming and clicking is not a lot, but it's a 48 compo, so I shouldn't complain. <br/>I like it though, I really do. The graphics are very appealing. <br/>Also there's a little bug that doesn't let you reset the game. <br/> <br/>Good job! |

I like how you are able to switch spells, but a faster mana regen would make the game alot more fun. <br/>The graphics are very simple, but it's at a good standard for the 48 compo. <br/>It's fun, but like I said, would be better if you could use spells more often. <br/>Not much can be said about the audio. It's simple but it's there, which is much more than most others. <br/> <br/>Congratulations on this great submission. |

It even has upgrades! <br/>For a 48hr compo, this definitely looks more like a Jam. It's great and deserves to be acknowledged. #1 Compo to me so far. <br/>The controls are sometimes a bit buggy, but that's expected. <br/> <br/>Great job!! |
