| Aug 30 04:44:00 | Evolution Racer | ...What was the point of any of that? | |
| Sep 3 21:07:00 | 112h 23m | Terra Tam: The World Warrior | Well...You had a strange but interesting idea; the execution was simplistic, but well done. Plus, you made me laugh. Not much else I can ask for, I guess. ;) |
| Sep 3 21:43:00 | 36m 00s | Selectra | It's pretty cool, but I never got to the boss fight. I got up to 999 and apparently that makes it impossible to shoot? Kind of disappointing. The shooting felt kind of random and clumsy, so I just didn't feel like trying to continue killing enemies while avoiding bullets... |
| Sep 4 23:57:00 | 26h 14m | The World Hates You | Pretty clever idea! I enjoyed playing and seeing what levels came about. However...I usually felt like I was testing myself against the controls rather than the level. I was bouncing and flailing all over the place. I feel like I'd have a lot more fun if I could be more in control of the "character".

Also, it seemed like obstacles would hit me even if it seemed like they were completely "covered" by neutral squares. Like, they would touch me diagonally, somehow. Like this:

O
XOOOOO

If I came from the right, the X would kill me.

One last thing I wonder about is the security. I didn't dig too deeply into the messages, but they look like XML sent over more-or-less HTTP...and they don't include anything about *how* the player won, only that they *did* win. I have this nagging worry that someone will approve all the unbeatable levels so the entire population becomes unbeatable. >_> |
| Sep 13 11:12:00 | 203h 15m | Super Clew Land | It's pretty good, but I don't like the gene system. It's frustrating when you don't have the match you're looking for, so you have to put it somewhere you've already built up and it wipes out everything you've done. It took me half a dozen tries to get to swimming...You probably put the infinitely regenerating bug there so people could grind until they got lucky, right? |
| Sep 14 15:55:00 | 28h 43m | Moche | This is really hard to figure out. Eventually I got the "point" of most of the minigames...I THINK. Still really unsure about them. (Especially the sword and shield one.) Some of them you immediately, but then most of them you have to keep playing until you get to the next one? One thing that would really help is if there was some sort of progress meter for each level, showing whether you were actually making progress. Otherwise you have no idea if you're doing it right.

The other thing is that apparently there's some sort of split screen feature but I had no idea how or when to use it. It's all so unclear. |
