| Aug 21 21:30:00 | A Robot Escape | Nice! Takes a mean jump in difficulty suddenly, but I like it a lot. The CAPTCHA joke is great, too. | |
| Aug 22 18:48:00 | 21h 18m | A tale about life, death and a looser. | I really like the art style. Yeah, kind of all bummer endings right now though :) |
| Aug 22 19:28:00 | 40m 00s | TVs Attack | I'm almost immediately stuck - 3 TVs blocking the bottom, 2 TVs blocking the lower path, and the insta-death on the top path. What gives? |
| Aug 22 20:29:00 | 1h 01m | Abandoned | I like the art style, very cool. I ended up kind of just wandering, not really sure where I might need or want to go, though. |
| Aug 22 21:06:00 | 37m 00s | Upset | I like it! It was really non-obvious when I was stuck, though - the fact that you have to wait for more channels to open up from #public wasn't clear. I restarted a bunch of times trying to get what I needed from ParadiseBot alone. In the end I peeked at the source, just to see how things ended. |
| Aug 23 15:13:00 | 18h 07m | Escape from the Labyrinth | I had no idea anything was following me at all. After exploring for like 5 minutes and finding a creepy picture, I just got a "you were captured" message. Kind of a bummer way to end after all that work. I didn't really know how to find the exit other than the standard follow-a-wall maze navigation. |
| Aug 23 15:16:00 | 3m 00s | Asplosions! | The sumo wrestler part was seemingly impossible and incredibly frustrating. They spawn quickly and aiming the fireballs to make a big enough space to escape is too hard. |
| Aug 23 15:17:00 | 1m 00s | Escape the Drones | Ideally your "Web" link should go to a playable page, not a ZIP download :( |
| Aug 23 16:08:00 | 51m 00s | Arenatron | I still hate the missile arenatrons. Damn you, missiles! |
| Aug 23 16:09:00 | 1m 00s | and just like that | YES IT IS DISTRACTING WHEN YOU DO THAT.
I'm mostly just annoyed now that I didn't see some of the secret areas, apparently! |
| Aug 23 18:34:00 | 2h 25m | Stratus | Great graphics and I like the puzzle-y nature of it. Yup, I was wanting more but I love what you did. |
| Aug 24 03:37:00 | 9h 03m | Relic Run | I found this fairly boring, since there was little reason not to just constantly fire directly in front of the character. I had no reason to learn what the different boxes meant either. |
| Aug 24 03:40:00 | 3m 00s | Bloppo: the great escape | Loud music with no volume controls makes me sad. |
| Aug 24 03:45:00 | 5m 00s | Safari Park Escape | This could use a little more of a tutorial - I wasn't really sure what I was doing, but clicking to move my animals seemed to work eventually. |
| Aug 24 03:57:00 | 12m 00s | Dystopian Future Underground City | Fantastic graphics but the gameplay was incredibly frustrating. The slow turn radius of the ship plus the presence of gravity combine to make it really frustrating, in my opinion.

It also took quite a while for me to even tell exactly when I was colliding with stuff, because it's a weird "soft" collision that just steals some health, instead of the more common hard collision.

This makes every collision guaranteed to hurt a LOT, since you don't bounce off but continue to penetrate the building and hurt your ship more. |
| Aug 24 03:59:00 | 2m 00s | Beetle escape | Not exactly innovative gameplay, but I love the presentation. |
| Aug 24 04:00:00 | 1m 00s | Escape from the elemental maze | Yup, can't download. |
| Aug 24 04:05:00 | 5m 00s | Claustrophobia | I like it! The fog is a good twist on the maze (man are there a lot of mazes in this compo) and the sword, checkpoints etc also add a lot to the standard maze formula. |
| Aug 24 04:15:00 | 10m 00s | Spiritual | Really fantastic presentation!
I agree, the "wait for the blocks to randomly move in a way you can use" mechanic gets old quickly. Having SOME way the user can affect that might help. |
| Aug 24 04:25:00 | 10m 00s | The Life of Borgy | Not a fan of the gameplay/controls. Jumping from a standstill feels incredibly weak, and jumping while moving feels ridiculously overpowered. Great music and I liked the signs/humor/vibe, though. |
| Aug 24 04:32:00 | 7m 00s | Cosmic Heist | I liked it! Man, I thought the controls were relative like Asteroids, not absolute, at first. And the asymmetric ship had me confused which way I was pointing too.
But once I figured that out, I played this quite a bit!
Absolutely love the tones on the menu buttons - I sat there dragging the mouse across them for a while. |
| Aug 25 01:46:00 | 21h 14m | Robot Pit Escape | Fantastic gameplay mechanics, I love it. With some fancier graphics and controls, this would be very releaseable. My favorite game so far! |
| Aug 25 01:57:00 | 11m 00s | Reveal | The atmosphere was great. A little boring tearing down boards after a while, but I found the game satisfying if artsy. |
| Aug 25 15:04:00 | 13h 07m | Bomber Planet | /concur with most folks. Neat, nice graphics, but got bored after a while.
Honestly the extra bomb slots aren't much worth it when the bomb drops in front of you - by the time you maneuver to a good spot for a second bomb (esp w/o diagonal movement) the first one's probably already exploded anyway. |
| Aug 25 20:01:00 | 4h 57m | Martin vs Monty | Fun stuff! I adore the art style, and the game was pretty amusing. |
