Splitter Critters by GertJohnny 2016-04-19T08:52:00

What a game!

Other than the camera being a little clunky, this already looks and plays like a game I'd be happy to buy.

On the point of the camera, I think you'd be better to place the camera tutorial first, as I found myself needing to use it in the first puzzle.

I also struggled on the level with the pillar, as I hadn't yet realised that you could have multiple splits.

An enjoyable, polished, little game.

The only criticism I can come up with is that the shapes sometimes overlap and spike up the difficulty, as it becomes hard to see which one is coming first.

Really, really cool.

I like the premise and the mouse movement is a good substitution for tilt.

The balls' properties aren't very clear, but that is partially because of no tutorial.

It looks stunning, given the time taken.

Gameplay-wise, I initially found the movement clunky, but grew to like it, as it requires precision to get onto platforms, etc.

I'm not as sold on the combat, as there didn't seem to be much threat and it didn't feel 'fun' to me.

Although it would discard the theme, I feel that the jumping section by itself would make a better game.

Thanks, I've added a zip version alongside the installer, as there is actually sound, but I've not added the sound category as the music isn't my own.

Pretty funny and enjoyable graphics and sound.
The gameplay could do with polish and the level design was a bit off (if you stand on one of the platforms you can safely throw rabbits at the masses below)

The Maze Nightmare by docteurSid 2016-04-19T08:26:00

The atmosphere in this is great, particularly when close to losing. I also like that the maze seems to reshape itself, as it lends to a strong sense of tension.

I'm not sure if it's intentional that you can walk through two blocks that are touching diagonally, although it helped an otherwise fairly difficult game!

Block Shift by Templar3lf 2016-04-18T12:07:00

I really like this. It's simple, but reasonably challenging.

There's a lot of potential for mixing up the core rules that this version establishes, like giving the movable tiles different colours and having colour gates, or requiring a shape to be created at a certain point.

While there isn't a lot there, I like what you've done.
The animations for the character are charming and the controls feel good.
