Game does not start

Duke Dashington by AdventureIslands 2013-08-28T19:29:00

So polished. Aside from the buggy controls, the game is totally awesome. I liked the sliding platform mechanic that introduced timing to some of the puzzles.

this game is awesome. Once you get the hang of it. It's hard to figure out the order of things sometimes, but that's the game. What I really would like is a reset button, now I have to replay bots to do nothing, so it doesn't mess up the setup of other bots.

Clicked on web, but I only see the title. Nothing happens...

CatWalk: Final battle by Pixelfan Games 2013-08-27T11:11:00

The minigames are a bit simple, but the awesome story makes up for it :)

Escape From Homeshank by ColdBrain 2013-08-27T11:40:00

Nice game. It looks very polished and complete. Graphics and music set a great mood.

The balance is a little off, you can use the bird alone to complete almost every level.

Totem Wars by PeaCe 2013-08-27T18:55:00

Great game. Overall it looks incredibly polished, I would never think think this was made over the course of a single weekend.

The game could use a description of the special items, it
isn't very clear what they do.

I like the switching mechanic a lot. Together with the timer and the ability to engage/disengage it adds a lot of depth. They are all clever ways to add complexity to what is otherwise a simple RPS game fun.

About balance, I think scissors is currently too powerful against the AI. Weighted abilities in RPS are generally fine, but the AI doesn't seem to understand. The general gameplay boils down to quickly figuring out who wins in combat, and attacking/evading the opponent. An AI could very easily play this game 'perfectly', so the depth is in actually seeing who wins or loses faster than the opponent. This works well with the timer and the 'scaling' complexity by adding more blocks on the totem.

Overall I like the game very much. Well done!

The night spirits don't seem to appear much at all if you sleep at night. Basically you 'win' the game by permanently sleeping, there isn't much gameplay or any kind of goal to work towards.

If anyone is interested in Hi-Scores:
I managed to get to round 74 with about 2500 kills

The game can be quite difficult, but once you figure out how to solve some of the problems, you can get pretty far.

It is very possible to get past round 75, but you have to start using some very tricky mechanics (beacon chaining) at around level 40, and plan your layout very well.

@kebabskal
We realise the game guide is a little long at the moment. A skippable in-game tutorial would probably work, but we didn't have time to implement something like that.

@deepnight
We haven't had any problems with arrow keys failing, what platform/browser are you on?

Multitaskor by munchor 2013-08-29T13:51:00

This game has been made several times before with almost identical gameplay. For example: http://armorgames.com/play/11152/multitask-2
