LD46 — Keep it alive

Healing Quest by kazuo256 2020-04-21T19:28:45Z

I played the HTML version of your game. I loved the graphics and logo - very reminiscent of old-school Final Fantasy games, and very pro. The music was also very good. Surprised you are not seeking votes on the audio. The theme was on target. The mood was innocent and relaxing. The gameplay had some originality in that the fighter is on auto-play and your only task is to control the healer (both healing and avoiding enemies, or at least that's how I understood it). However it got a bit boring after a few minutes. I think it needs something a bit more dynamic to give it some excitement. I think I found a bug where during the second wave of enemies, placing the healer on top of the fighter disappears the fighter and takes you back to start screen (I reproduced it several times). Overall, I thought this was an impressive effort. Hope this is helpful and that you will play and rate our game.

Retrospective Sparks by kikiriki367 2020-04-23T18:16:08Z

I played the macOS LD46 version, so the ratings could be fair. The graphics are quite nice. The music is quite nice and relaxing, although it goes a bit wobbly in one of the rooms and did I imagine it or does it get louder each time you wake up from sleep. Apart from that, I didn't get it. I visited the four rooms and clicked on everything that seemed to be clickable, read the text but could not find any semblance of a story or goal. I also didn't get the dream / question / button thing. Sorry, perhaps I'm dumb, but I didn't get it.

Hextayin' Alive by alareo 2020-04-21T19:42:24Z

I played the HTML version of your game. There's lots to like. It is very polished, the graphics and soundtrack are both very good. I was a bit puzzled about the objective being to "maintain a balance" between humans and the virus. I played the game twice and both times ended with running out of viruses, as if it were bad. Seems to me that should be the objective. Otherwise, if the objective is ton "maintain a balance" then a successful play through would be never ending?... Or perhaps I am missing the point? But overall, I was hugely impressed. Hope you'll find this useful and will play and rate our game.

Keep The Social Distance by DrSomma 2020-04-23T18:30:51Z

I thought this was very good. The theme is timely and on target. The graphics are simple but do the job. The audio is a bit basic but fine. The game objective is clear from the start, the game play is simple, smooth and fun. It's one of those "loosing games" though where you cannot win, the point is to delay failure for as long as possible, which is fine. It'd be nice to be able to measure your score against other players. I did 14000 on first play through - is that rubbish??? Please check out our game!

Elemental Robotics by Natan Wiegenfeld 2020-04-21T19:08:11Z

I played the HTML5 version of your game. Didn't get far as I wasn't able to jump far enough to next ledge and kept falling on the grass. Well done on having a "tutorial" however it misses some pretty important info such as moving the mouse reorients your character and pressing space jumps. Well done also on making the game functional. However, I had no fun playing it and the music just drove me insane after a few seconds. This is meant as constructive criticism and hopefully will help you.

Protect The Statue by Sai Vivek Amirishetty 2020-04-23T18:50:33Z

I liked: the music, the modelling, the super-simple controls, the clear objective. I didn't like: that you really didn't see where you were shooting and that cyborgs being destroyed or not seemed a bit random -- it needs to show the bullets/rays and give greater visual and audio feedback when the cyborgs are hit/damaged and destroyed. In any case, well done for making a functional game and keep going!

Spacewhale Multiverse (Only You Can Save The) by SpreadsheetLover 2020-04-21T19:46:48Z

Thanks for playing and for the comments. @yodog - On the keyboard, pressing [Alt] drops the "universe ball", which allows you to shoot enemies. To re-dock the ball, just hover over it.
