I enjoyed the minimalist visuals, and the core gameplay whilst simple was quite fun, though personally I felt like the second level was a lot harder than the levels that came after it - it made for a bit of an odd sense of progression.
A neat little gameplay loop. My biggest complaint is that finding the upgrades around the hub area became a bit of a chore after a while. But I'd love to see a later version of this with more spells to use and patterns to learn, and perhaps some higher priced things to spend your skulls on.

Love the cute pixel art and characters and the alternate bubble types were interesting, particularly the bubble that split into continually smaller bubbles, but ultimately the main weapon felt like the best weapon at your disposal. Sucking up a whole bunch of hearts at once also feels very fun. I'd love to have seen where this would have gone given more time.
