I like the mood that you set and where (I think) the game is going. While I realize that you mentioned the game is incomplete, I'm going to point out a couple of things that jumped out at me. First, there's no control map, so I had to guess at the keys. The text narration that plays throughout the experience is good, but there was no other context to the game so it's hard to know exactly what was going on. I also was not aware that I was already a werewolf and just so happened to stumble across that. Finally, I was unable to to get past the point where people find me and run at me.
Good effort and keep up the hard work!
This game would definitely benefit from the use of game pads (which I know you said you're planning on adding). I think this is a super clever idea and could see this as being more than a game jam game. The 2 player feature is great, but it would also be nice to be able to play 1 player mode.
Changing the shape's color when changing the shape feels (to me) like you're substituting characters instead of shape shifting, I think it would be good to show the shape morph from one type to the next.
I really like the name Shwift in general, but I don't see how it connects to the game itself.
Great job (now go study)!
I literally lol'd at the screen shot. Super clever name, I'm a fan of the alliteration. This game seems well thought out in terms of the raft components, obstacles that get in the way, and the damage system. I found the controls to be a little bit cumbersome and would have preferred if I could switch to build mode without having to use the mouse.
My hat's off to the amount of work you've done on this game!
I agree with Pontifex about the lengthy flight. Otherwise, the music fit really well and I liked the map feature.
Bonus points for bringing the real-life science aspect into the game. I did get stuck a few times in the tubes and had to restart the level. I LOVE the whimsical character and cleverness with the story.
Definitely liked the artwork and colors, it paired great with the night club setting; the music was awesome. Neat-O concept with the game blaster having that morph ability. I was a little confused as to what the games objective was it and just so happened to transform one of the objects back into my dear, I didn't know that's what I was going for in the first place. The little comic on the home screen that shows the back story is great, I found that it served its purpose perfectly.
Playing this was a good time. You made a well-rounded experience with the splash screen, scoreboard, gameplay, etc. Neat idea to have the ship change form, but I have to admit that I would expect a ship to be able to shoot something. Great job overall!
kinda creeped me out. Definitely worth the play though.
Very well-rounded. I liked that shape-shifting changed the characters properties, that was a nice touch.
This was very engaging. Super unique concept with a good story and narrative that was well presented. A very trippy game, but also very cool. Great job!
It seemed a little bit difficult to eat things at times. The DNA part was very cool and I liked the artwork.
