Cool concept! I like the idea of making yourself weaker as you go. The artwork is charming as well.
The movement felt a bit too floaty and the bow didn't behave the way I thought it would since you use the mouse to fire (I thought it would fire in the direction of my pointer so that was a bit weird at first).
Overall a great entry!
This is really good! I like the music, though it does get a bit repetitive after a while. I did notice that you move quite a bit faster if moving diagonally which felt a bit weird.
It did take a bit to understand what I was supposed to do. I thought I'd just collect some candy and sacrifice it but that killed me so I figured I had to get all the pieces but still wasn't sure.
Also, in the dungeons I kept getting hit by traps but it really looked like I wasn't in the way so maybe the hitboxes need tweaked a bit?
Anyway, overall this is a great entry!
Thanks for the feedback! There's definitely a lot to do to polish this up! We are thinking of dedicating some time to make more levels and give more explanation of the overall goals of the game (in a way that isn't too "hand holdy").
