The art, music, sound effects on this all come together to make a really nice "medieval skyland" vibe, and the moving pillars are a really interesting and unique idea. Sometimes I felt a bit clueless on what was happening and how to influence it (people falling off, battles being waged, columns falling down), but with some trial and error you can do a lot. Really well done!

Ludens Fortuna by deniskazantsev 2021-10-05T10:26:34Z

Card games are always right up my alley, and this one is especially impressive. I don't know if I've quite internalized the rules, I can barely get above arcana level 7~8 without accidentaly miscounting the squares and game overing myself (High score so far 4521, share your highscores people). Might have to practice a bit. It feels very fair and engaging though, and I like the visuals in the background and the designs on the cards.

It Was Desert by senar93 2021-10-05T10:01:04Z

That was really fun to play around with. The feeling of the dice not moving as you want it to and constantly having to adjust the direction your thinking felt both frustrating and satisfying once you figure it out. The controls could use some in-game explaination (I skimmed over your page and initially thought the WASD keys corresponded to different faces of the dice, even made it through the first two levels believing that). I also really liked your art.

However, once you get the mechanic into your brain the puzzles become kind of too easy, even if you throw stuff like the face hiding rocks at me, and it doesn't quite feel related to the theme to me. Still, I had fun and this is a solid puzzle game overall.

Hack N' Shoot by Jake Summer 2021-10-05T19:50:51Z

Enemies sadly spawn way to close to the middle (as in, less than half a second to react all the way up to instant death), making it pretty impossible for me to progress. The hack button does nothing when I press it. Maybe a larger exclusion zone for spawns?

The visuals of the curved CRT screen and the sounds are very nice though.

Forecards by Kubulambula 2021-10-05T10:42:04Z

The art on this is 100% gorgeous. The hand-drawn cards, weathers and the map just seem so charming, and together with the music makes it feel really medieavely, if that's a word. The sound effects (especially the screams) are really well-made.

It does get kind of brutal pretty quickly though, I lost half of my villages in the first two minutes, and quickly swapping between cards before multiple weathers hit multiple villages is quite hard. Fun to play for a few minutes, after a while it tapered off a bit when I'd seen everything.
