A lot of fun, nice graphics and really great level-design. As other said, some checkpoints could improve the player motivation for progress in the game.
System with evolution is fun, just the game seems a little hard to play for me, maybe improve the fight when moving ? (always target the nearest enemy, as you can go backward but continue to attack; increase weapon range; add a magic protection / explosion ?) Also sometimes, the enemy are inverted when moving ?
Interesting mecanics, great ambiance with musics, maybe a little hard to play/too fast? and too much with a trackpad. (my first try...) A good Mouse is really recommended.
@rikun, as the descriptions; the sacrifice is to kill people by avoiding that their buildings from rising too high.
