LD55 — Summoning

Dark Dominion by ChuChuGeralt 2024-04-18T00:19:00Z

The UI was clean and I was impressed with the depth of options for a game jam game (sound, full screen, graphics quality). A pause screen for the player to change settings during the game would have been a nice addition. As a few others have said, it can feel a little slow, especially when there are lots of characters to move, but overall I enjoyed playing!

@paloobi thanks for your feedback and suggestions on making variables such as score and how the rhythm affects the score more apparent to the user. We will definitely pay attention to that in the future. Thanks for playing!

LD56 — Tiny Creatures

I really like the art style and how there is not a bit that doesn't fit the theme. The power switch in the top left visibly flipping from left to right, even though it is mostly obscured by the instruction manual, is very polished, and I think it is a creative way to implement a reset button, "turning off" the machine and restarting from level 1

I think its enjoyable seeing your block creation spit out tiny creatures with really large numbers! I liked the input/output arrows on the blocks which made it easy to understand how they would work. There was a bug where I could not place blocks and they would not be lined up exactly with the mouse cursor but I could still remove them from the level, which I think resulted from clicking while dragging a block or trying to move it, but I enjoyed the simplicity of the game while I was playing it.
