the game.
After having played it and come to comment, I just realized that this game is within the compo section. The art and the fact that there is a lot of narrative and four levels I find it difficult to believe that a single person did it. It is a pity that due to the time of developing the jam games, the design idea could not be further developed, because when I got to the last level and had to mix my cards is where it entertained me the most, and it was only two screens. A more developed project of this would play it again. Great contribution!
The only problem I had was with the jumping, especially when it was wall jumping, but for the rest, DAMN this was a lot of fun. The core mechanic reminded me of the Ultrakill coin, and each scenario is refreshing with the addition of mechanics. I really liked.
This reminds me of the widgets that I installed in Windows XP / 7 back in the early 2010s. A very interesting concept, the delay that had when changing direction bothered me a bit but in general I really liked it, and since I use wallpaper engine every time the background changes it accidentally creates a dynamic difficulty hahaha. very good.
@duskel If you mean when you go out through the window, you must go straight until you fall off the screen.
If you mean when the earthquake starts, notice that before entering the gold zone it shows that you can turn on the light by right-clicking the mouse. My fault if it is not seen clearly, I think I made it smaller than it should that drawing.
oh more replies, that's a surprise HAHA
@tykenn @jerem-watts I tag them too so they can see.
thank you @tykenn! this game was really a trip for me and my team, because we had the self-imposed challenge of debuting in godot with this jam and the result with its highs and lows was a lot of fun to do. thanks for playing!
@tsunscreen thanks! I'm very glad that you liked it, comments like yours motivate me and my pals to continue making games :D
@nicolas-cancio thank you too. and yeah, I showed the game to my teacher and he told me the same thing. maybe putting it on the shift key would have been better? I'm not very familiar with keyboard gaming, I'm 99% joystick haha. I appreciate the feedback.
thanks @daniel-eduardo-martinez! About momentum, this is lost by touching a ledge only when you jump while running. Unfortunately we could not fix it, but luckily it was not a very serious problem and the situations where you have to run to jump are few.
@stalemeat thank u! I really liked how the dynamics turned out, I will probably repeat it in one of my future projects.
@kyrell HAHAHA, yeah luckily most did not end up believing that the game was unfinished or that they were softlocked. I was planning to transition it to make it more noticeable which was a feature of the game, but we started with Godot a week before the jam starts so we couldn't juggle much either. Thanks for playing!
@thyagodarth thank you! And I'm glad that you liked the graffiti, although if I had had more time I would have worked them more haha
