It was quite fun. I must say, this game is intense... It starts so quickly...
Anyways, I guess it would benefit from some sounds and/or music, but yea. 27 was my max, I think.
Foon → Ludum Dare Explorer → MiniLD → MiniLD 68 → Apple Catch

34! I keep going for the green ones! spelos is right, this game gets REALLY intense.
Sounds would be cool to have, maybe mouse-click to restart the game so you can try again more quickly, too.
Congrats for making the effort to code something. Lots of simple improvements that could be made I'm sure you're aware of: ramping up the speed, some simple SFX, etc. I like the childish GFX, they fit with the theme.
Wow, quite hard :D I got 25 after some tries, but I have really bad reflexes... As the others said.... Sound effects would make the game better :D and an easier way to restart...
By the way: You don't have to include the pdb files that Unity creates - they make the game unneccesarily big ;)
It can be better if we can easily restart the game.
Quite challenging, yet simple concept! As Gord10 said, making it easier to restart (e.g. as in Flappybird Menu), would want to make you more likely to keep playing and trying to beat your score.
On the other hand, having the restart take a bit longer gives the player a nice "exit point", time to think if they want to keep playing or not.
Also, this could be greatly improved by adding sound, maybe even letting your uncle/dad/brother shout a few words each time an apple is tossed or you hit a new milestone (e.g. every 10 apples they say sth encouraging).
All in all, nice little entry! Fun to play :)
