Very cool game.

The "boss" is the purple sphere and the healthbar for it is in the upper right corner. You win by shooting it using ctrl and avoiding the turquoise "minions". Thanks for the input, will check out your video.
I'm guessing the couple of times I died "randomly" were actually because a purple minion exploded and instantly killed me sending me to the game over screen. Took me a while to figure that out though. Pretty interesting mechanics and pretty tough game. Nice job.
Nice game, the controls are a bit tough to master as the player movement is not really tight, it can get a bit frustrating
That is a correct assumption Mike. I've been meaning to put in a delay and add a "death" animation after the player is killed, but ran out of time. Will probably put in an update this weekend. Thanks for all the feedback, appreciate it.
