Too bad that you could not get game running! Could you run the game from Terminal with following command: java -jar RayDungeon.jar . If there is an error, it should be displayed in the terminal. Can you copy the error here? I have tested it with Windows 7 and Ubuntu 14.10, works for both.
unfortunately it says it need JDK installed to run from terminal
looks cool but the controls are horrible, can I use the cursor keys please!
I have to agree that controls are horrible as I am use to using mouse for viewing around, but here it was intentional to frustrate player. To make things easier I added cursor keys and numpad keys. Left and right are still for strafing. For numpad you can use 7 and 9 to rotate character and 4685 to move around. Feel free to use Q,E for rotating and cursor keys to move around or any other combination.
