Very cute game! The contols were a bit difficult for me, maybe map juming to `W` to simplify the `IOJKL` section 😄 And the textboxes with explanations were displayed too short for me. But I enjoyed the different boss fights you managed to implement. Almost missed the entry to the part after the spider. It took me a moment to understand the cat fight, but it was fun and the end scene was nice. Good work!

The mouse is soo cute! The textboxes displayed for too short of a time but otherwise the game was pretty cool!

Controls were not that intuitive, tutorials were displayed too short. Beated the game, but cat fight logic made no sense. Hower overall game is very good, i especially loved the effect of music gradually gradually coming to life and controls reminders when you stand idle. Good Wwrk!

The controls were a little odd, not necessarily bad, just different. It took me a minute to get used to them. The text boxes weren't displayed long enough, it was hard to read them before they disappeared. Maybe you could have some sort of dismiss once the player read it all (so like, "Click 'U' to dismiss/continue"). Other than that, the game was great! I loved the idea, it was very cute. The level progression was very good and the different ideas in the game were great.

Cute! Lovely graphics and some nice level design, mix of mechanics and even a couple of boss fights. I agree with others about the text boxes, but you got reminders so it wasn't too bad.

First off let me say this with my whole chest. i HATE the controls. anyway thats just me and because my Keyboard is small. the game was fucking amazing. great art amazing sound design and a phenomenal use of the theme. the idea of bringing all the sounds in tune as you fix is truly inspired. the grinding noise is especially my favorite. also a nice few little references in there. That menu is gorgeous BTW. i wish the persons face at the end was even smaller. wonderful game. oh it would be nice if i would be nice if i could hover over the items to see the dialogue again its a bit fast for my taste.

This game was really well presented. I thought the mouse design was adorable and the setting was fun an interesting. As the others have said, the controls took a lot of getting used to and, honestly, a more conventional key assignment would have made the game more fun. I did get stuck at once I killed the spider... I'm just not sure what I'm meant to do next. That said, it was a well put together game with nice art and sound, so good job!

These controls are INSANE and I ended up claw-gripping my keyboard awkwardly.

Other than that, this is possibly the best game I've played so far. Extremely cute I love everything about it (except the controls).

Nice little game but with poor control design. I didn't know I could press O to dash, so I got stuck for a while. When you unlock a new ability, it might help to keep the UI prompt on screen for a while. Also, I was hoping for more levels that focus on the abilities-The abilities themselves feel underutilized — after unlocking one, there are only a few small levels for it, and they don’t interact with each other much.

Cute little platformer! Like others have said, the controls could be better. Half the time I was just guessing on what to press until the thing happened. Also, the bed save doesn't seem to be required after achieving an objective. I died after turning on a speaker and it remained on. Not a bad thing, it just surprised me.

such a sweet lil game! :) Honestly, is quite impressive to be able to do so many different power ups and even include boss fights in such a short period of time. It was also nice that the dynamic for each fight kinda is different. The story is also super sweet and the art is really really charming. The hookshoot throwing in that angle made me think of Magical Pop'n, but you even achieved to make it more seamless to use it here.

I disagree with the others talking about the controls, I mean, the mapping is a lil bit weird but the movement felt natural and was not a disaster to get used to. The presence of a jump buffer and a coyote time made the platforming of the game feel fluid! One thing that got in the way is how fast the text passes automatically, tbh, I couldn't read a single text box before it simply disappearing and left me to deduce what I should do next. That said, I didn't got stuck anywhere.

Overall quite a solid entry! I really liked it! Thank you for the game :)

@arlius Oooh, I... never noticed that, lol. I'm sure it happened when I played it, but I was too focused on testing one thing to even think of that.

I'm glad everyone's liking it. I wanted to try controller support, but ditched it for keyboard and really wasn't sure on what to do. Guess I should play more metroidvanias and platformers with a keyboard and see. But I'm liking the feedback.

I hate these controls. I kept getting the keys mixed up. Otherwise, it's a pretty standard platformer.

I liked your game.

For a game jam entry, it’s very polished. The story is well-told, the mechanics are clean, and the art—both the visuals and the audio—is very well-executed. I’m a big fan of this genre, and even though your game is simple, it stays very true to the style. It even includes bosses! I wasn’t a fan of the button layout, though—not that it’s a major issue, of course. In games like this, it’s a good idea to let players customize their own controls, as it really depends on the player's finger dexterity. Even though it took me a while to figure out what I needed to do during the final boss, I managed to reach the end.

I really enjoyed it. Congratulations!
