Wow! Vocaloids and GUMI in the chat!!! I'm thrilled by the intro animation and the art >~< So cute! The idea is a bit creepy in the sense that I feel sorry for the kitty >.< But at the same time, the concept of 9 lives is wonderfully played out :) It seems... a bit hard to tell exactly when a collision happens… but that didn’t stop me from getting hooked on the game :) Especially since I have a soft spot for this kind of mechanic))) Thank you so much for the game and the lovely mood it gave me while playing!
The game looks amazing! The cinematic was a nice touch as well. The camera shake during the cinematic's narrative was unexpected and very cool.
Meow meow meow
Hard game, couldn't make to the end (it there is any?). I wish restart was bind on a key, because I need to grab my mouse each time I die (and that's often 😆)
But very cool, loved the intro, and cool gameplay! (I also find a trick: going in diagonal makes you a little faster)
Interesting hand drawn style. Modeling is also very interesting!
@pikario in the end u will see something cool, and this trick really working(we find it on tests and use all the time)
Thank you all so much for your feedback, it's really nice to hear.
I launched the game of the year and...I was not disappointed! The physics are interesting and add a good level of difficulty. The opening cutscene is just amazing. The game has a really nice atmosphere. Congrats !
Sometimes you just want to chill out and this game is just right for that. It was fun to remember the days of the minecraft dropper
This game is really cute! The visuals were incredibly charming, and the song was a good choice. It's a pretty fun "Minecraft Dropper" style game, with upgrades that felt a little contrived, but were ultimately appreciated. This is a question of intention, but some of the obstacles seemed to be designed around trial-and-error gameplay, which isn't for everyone. Also, it would've been nice to have a shadow underneath the player to show where I'm falling, and I noticed a bug(?) where my camera drifts off and rotates randomly, which makes it very difficult to control where I'm going.
I wish there was a level system rather than one really big level because it was pretty hard, but I get that it's probably meant to be a rage game. The music is so fire and it made my 20 minutes of falling into an endless chasm a lot more fun. I love the gamecube era kinda visuals too :)
@ten10gu Thanks for trying the game and for the amazing feedback! A shadow under the player is genius.
I agree about the difficulty; I think the level design was inspired by Dark Souls :p. At least I adapted the death UI to be consistent with that.
I couldn't make it to the end, seems a bit difficult. Makes me wonder if there's any chance there's a machine specific bug affecting gameplay speed or something. I only got past the first upgrade spot past the leaves and that was hard enough.
Still always impressive to attempt a 3d game, and cute intro.
Oh, one bug you may want to be aware of. It seems like you have special intro music that doesn't play for me unless I replay the cinematic.
I think the main issue with difficulty is hitboxes. I would make them more forgiving, so even there is a visual collision, the player can still go pass it. E.g. make it a smaller circle around the player, so the hands are collision-free. :D
Since I was dying in the first 5-10 seconds, the music restart was a bit annoying. The game should either be easier, or the song should not start over, otherwise it's a death loop xD
For a meow game, it was unexpectedly brutal, and not that kawaii (I got beated by the trees)...
