Game good, beating slimes all day and night, however there I need autosave. Waiting for part 2.

We are aware of the absence of the save button :) as you may know, little time, Many ideas .. Hope you liked it! @el-tester-9000
do you want it to be a full game with continuation and save progress?
The game looks cute. Great job!
9 mice kai angel hm 2 freed
Love the farm games!!! Very interesting idea fusion slime rancher and stardew valley!
I love the cute yet clear art style, it came together really attractive.
The slime add a fun wrinkle to it and really bring the stress of it all together, but I feel like the I need a progress of self-saving which can record my progress. I realize that’s a good default to err towards during a jam, but being left wanting for more is always a good sign.
The slime was really cute and fusiom, however, more various machinic would add the interest of the game. . I sort of with the game had that kind of progression, but maybe that’s a good direction for a post-LD version :)
Nice work!
I want to thank everyone who leaves comments on our game, this means a lot to us , being our first ever try to making a game, we already have the idea of how this game should really be , with a whole story progression and new characters, if we receive good feedback, we would be looking to update this game and make it something more. Thank you everyone once again! Much love From all the Team! <3
nice game
Very cool game! While pixel sizes varied, leading to a slightly scuffed pixel art aesthetic, the overall art direction was still really nice and generally cohesive. I really liked it!
There were a few bugs, the most noticeable was that when you pause the game right after taking damage from a slime, you will keep taking damage until you unpause :skull:
Of course, some quality of life changes would be appreciated, such as a way of saving and maybe faster movement / less health, but, overall a very solid entry which I enjoyed for a while.
I like it😆
@calcopod Thank you very much for your feedback! For some of us this is the first experience and we are glad that you liked it! In the future we will improve our skills
Overall this is a cute little game. I really enjoy being able to farming my little guys. My only complaints are that movement felt a little slow and I wish I could attack a bit faster. Other than that I enjoyed catching different slimes, its a good concept well executed. Good job!
Really Funny game. I appreciated everything about him
Very nice little slime rancher game! Its well made and fun to play! That said, there are a few minor things I've noticed : - The slime damage feels very low, it took a while before i even noticed it - I couldn't take slimes out of the pen, so there was no way of harvesting red crystals once I had filled it - It's not always clear what the purchased upgrades do, or what the level ups mean - I'd have loved a "run" option to go a bit faster sometimes
On the other side : - The game looks lovely! - There are very little to no bugs or mechanics that feel odd, which is pretty rare in game jams - I'd love to see this in an updated upgraded post-jam version! This is a great base for a game to build on!
Hey @phyrocast , i am one of the 6 people that worked on this game, we are very glad to recive this constructive opinion on our game, on thing to note is that for 5 of us , its the first time we participated for a game jam(and the first ever game to made ) We really appreciate the feedback , we do know its not perfect even for game jams standarts , it was my goal to make this game have a steady progression and a ending, but we ran in difficulties in the end, and this isnt even the half of the game i projected it to be, we actually had a second charchter as a guide in mind, we had in mind multiple "zones" that you would navigate , every zone representing the different slimes of course, and the pen had to be upgradeble with every level ( as in , slimes you are able to defeat, but agian , didnt have time ) having 1 coder for the whole project was a lot of stress for us, but we cant thank em enough for the work he had put in , i do hope we as a team , can maybe try to work another week on this game and make it as intended , but we cant promise you guys anything , as this a school assigment we had to complete as 1st year students Anyways, I cant still thank enough for our team that took this 3 days by storm , us using a uni classroom as the work place for 10 hours everyday , 10 am - 8 pm , and i want to thank each and everyone of you , that left feedback on this game , negative or positive , 1 star or 5 star rating, we still thank you for choosing to play this game and took the time to give us ur impressions
With much love, Vlad & OctaBit Team <3
@ex0tik003 By game jam standards, it is more than alright! And even more for a first participation in a game jam! There's no need to put this much pressure on your game, its a great submission and you can be all proud of the work you did on this project! well done to you all
Its a nice start! I'd definitely like to play a full version, this feels like something I'd spend way too much time on lol. Regardless I think you guys did great, its a lot more content than most jam games have! Very impressive :O
We are glad to hear that☺️@rsheepdv
nice visuals, loved the idea implementation, and also farm game in such short period is over the top!
Well done!
Wow this game has quite a lot of polish, really unexpected for a 3-day jam! I felt the main character moved a little slowly? I really appreciated the ability to zoom in though as some of the text would've been difficult to read otherwise! A really solid entry, I enjoyed it a lot!
