Feels cool! But strange controls if you're not using gamepad
was pretty great, but i couldn't figure out what L1 and R1 were on a standard Xbox controller, so I couldn't dodge or block. but that's a pretty minor thing to sort out later. great graphics, and good gameplay with the fight and all the animations!
AMAZING music! It really got my foot tapping! The animations are incredibly, both in game and on the titlescreen. This is such a good entry!
Good game! Played with controller. Control panel show abilities which not get, it confused. I like shield mechanic against ant
I wish I can play it in a browser too. It's a bit tricky to test Windows games on macOS
Feels like an older flash game. Not bad
beautiful art! A rare game that supports controllers!
Awesome music first of all aha ! I like the chara design. Pretty great job
I played on keyboard and I couldn't find the L1 or L2 buttons or change opponent. Beat the fly thrice though!
Other than the keyboard and mouse controls this is definitely one of my favorites so far, the only critique is better backgrounds overall.
Very nice game. I really like the music. On the other hand I had trouble with the controls, I couldn't find the L and R buttons on the keyboard and the player's movements didn't work with my snes controller even though it's the one in the example in the game, I was finally able to play with an xbox controller.
Great fighting game, reminds me of the old arcade beat-em-ups. Mixie is really pretty!
While I have no problems playing the game as I have a controller, I feel like having keyboard support is also important, as it lets as many people access your game as possible.
I also felt like the shield ability gained after defeating the beetle meant to counter against the ant's sword wasn't as useful as the dodge ability that was meant to counter the beetle's charge in the first place. Sure, successfully blocking the ant's sword starts a special animation and stuns the ant for a bit, but you still take some damage. I myself prefer dodging out of the way and landing a few hits between dodges and didn't use the shield much at all. Fortunately, most attacks in this game are well-telegraphed and easy to dodge save for a select few (the fly spit and the beetle's toss after the dodge confusion) that you either just tank or eventually learn to work around anyways.
Great work!
Played with a controller from the get-got. Man the attacks feel nice and kinetic, the sprites have a good amount of animation and reaction to player attacks and movement.
I like how each boss introduces something new, and has distinct weaknesses that can give you an advantage if you know how to exploit them. Even with that, the bosses are still challenging enough that you can't be overly careless and button mash to victory.
I especially appreciate how mobile you are with dodging and flight.
omg! That's hot! It's definetly what fighting games should look like. I like you game so much! good job!
here's a doodle for you cute character

@thyoi Wow! Didn't expect the awesome Mixie art! That's very kind, thank you very much.
this was really fun. great music, great art and animation. feels good to play. def better with a controller. character design is well done and fits the theme well too. nice game
Nice game with some good artwork and music. Maybe I needed controller because keyboard flet a little off to me. Thanks for making the game.
Hell yeah. Dodging and blocking at just the right moment felt really satisfying. I agree that shield should block all damage. Great character design and really well made animations with nice attention to detail like hair physics and, you know... other physics. The game was good enough even with keyboard controls.
