I wish there was a indicator when enemies might show up. there is no way to know when defenses should be built. otherwise fun to play.

I like the ambience this game gives, my first playthrough I didn't prepare enough defenses and got destroyed pretty easily! :sweat_smile:
Hey, just played Colony Manager! The concept of choosing from three actions is really cool - I can see a lot of potential there. And that bug sprite? Loved it! The surprise attack added some nice excitement. The game has some quirks that could use tweaking. Sometimes it's hard to tell what the ants are up to - are they gathering food or leaving the colony? Also, after beating a bug, the guns keep firing at nothing. A couple things that'd make it even better: being able to restart after winning, and making sure all the guns appear on screen. Overall, it's a fun idea with room to grow. Keep at it!
Nice little game, I found the difficulty well-balanced. You have to retry a few times before winning, just the right amount.
Pretty neat game, wish there was more after the one enemy and also a restart button, but other than that, it was pretty chill and coolio
I quite like the sprite work even if it is a bit warped in the embed, I also like the skip feature for collecting food, as that can be quite boring at times doing nothing. I like the different options you get and the fact that you can't really "control" any ants directly, just sort of put them onto a task and let them go wild.
Some more detailed music would not hurt, but I like the simple visual and soundtrack, the only thing is that the construction of new cubes does not work very intuitively.
Good entry. Some kind of indicator when the enemy is appearing would have been nice. Now it was a bit of trial and error to get a feeling when it comes and then in the following playthrough prepare for it.

Had to figure out why I was getting attacked and losing but once I understood how to control the tempo of the game was a nice little gem. Would love to see what this game would look like if you expanded it out!
If I can stop the collect process then it will be more strategic, the game is fun and well expressed.
It is perhaps a little limited in scope, It could have done with more added to it. It's ok though.
