cute graphics. felt like a game journalist with those jumps, i think that it needs a some indication to where you will land after jump
I really enjoyed the game. The mechanics seem quite simple, but constantly calculating the distance is very engaging. Good job!
Nice game, there's a lot more content than I would have expected. The main issue I had is that the jump charging bar doesn't really give a good indication of how far you are going to jump (it seems like you can charge well beyond the end of the bar?). Also I feel like the charge times in general could do with being lower given that most of the jumps need a nearly full charge so you spend a lot of time just waiting for the jump to charge up.
Glitches about tile blocks hitboxes and load bar speed are known issues. Bar speed charging depends on fps (so I idk how to fix it for html builds), but anyways thanks for the feedback!
The game is fun but very challenging.
Congratulations on your first game! It's really impressive what you were able to achieve as a team. I like the presentation but the controls are quite clunky which makes the game very difficult. I got stuck in a gap and I couldn't get out. This could be fixed with checkpoints and the ability to restart.
Funny game. Easy to understand, uneasy to master = the best. I'm asking myself why the "white charging bar" is always display. Just displaying it while player press the space bar would be more immersive, no ?
I really liked the game! cool movement sounds, but I would like to see some music too! I also lacked pointers for character movement and jump direction in the form of an arrow when Space Bar is pressed. Otherwise, for 3 days it's a very good job. Well done! The idea is also good. My rating is 9/10
It's a nice game, I liked the mechanics of jumping and controlling the bug. It was quite fun to play)
Interesting mechanic! My main gripe with the game is how you can charge beyond the bar that is shown, I almost got stuck at the second platform as I couldn't jump on top of it before noticing you could charge longer than the bar. I would also increase the character's walking speed a little as you sometimes have to travel some longer straight platform.
Other than that, a nice effort for sure, congrats!
