Watch the Opening Scene Here (If you are playing web version): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HMqvrzNcems

Wow, I spent the entire game thinking it was an abandoned pizza box that took over people's bodies. So, I was wondering why people felt the need to hit the pizza box, quite puzzling. 😂

This is truly quite enjoyable; from the first scene, it already gets you laughing.

I think the instructions need a bit more clarification. "E" doesn't seem to do anything, and parry fills some kind of gauge but it's too inconsistent to figure out what it does. When I do parry the mobs fall to the ground sometimes, other times they just get stuck in place.

I like the idea of the game and I managed to get my character clothing, but I think the game lacks a bit of feedback when you succeed in stealing the polygons, like with sound or a visual effect. The controls were also a little weird for me and this is usually not the time of game I play. It's an interesting concept and I really liked the visuals of the UI design. I can see you guys put a lot of work into this game so congrats!

I didn't really understand how the management works, or rather whether it works for me at all adequately, but not the point. I like the style of the game, but again I was faced with the fact that I lost my understanding of the intuitiveness of what was happening.

The concept is really cute! I wish that there was more feedback when your punches connect with the NPCs, but I think it's a great effort (especially with all the props in the world)!

Super fun idea! Great level size and quite a large set of mechanics for a jam game. Sneaking around in broad daylight was quite a challenge! placeholder_meme.png

fun idea, but instructions and feedback to player actions is somewhat unclear using caps lock for controls is absolutely cursed idea too

andypang1010 2024-10-25 01:18

Hi @korteh, using Caps-Lock for controls is a last-minute change we made to the game (personally, I hate the idea as well). We've been using Ctrl for the entire dev process but only realized that the game window would be terminated on the web version when players press Ctrl+W simultaneously. So in order to not have the players freak out when the game suddenly gets closed whenever they try to crouch, we moved the crouch key to Caps-Lock. Thanks for the feedback and we'll try to find a way to make the instructions clearer and test for a better input mapping!

@andriana-mantidfly Would you mind sharing a bit more on what you have a hard time understanding? It would really help us make our game more player-friendly!

andypang1010 2024-10-25 01:20

@hare-software This got me laughing on the floor! Do you mind if I steal it?

andypang1010 2024-10-25 01:21

@plasmak Thanks for the feedback! We'll try to keep that in mind when we make the next update.

andypang1010 2024-10-25 01:23

@inesrp We'll keep that in mind. We do have a whoosh sfx when stealing, but I agree with you that it might not be an enough indicator of a successful steal. Thanks for the feedback!

andypang1010 2024-10-25 01:29

@fireslash Thanks for the feedback! E should only work when you are trying to steal from enemies who haven't detected you (which I think we should do a better job at explaining when introducing the concept), it is also possible that you were playing on a version where the E button had a few minor bugs, but it should be patched now. Our instructions should definitely get updated considering too many of the mechanics are left unexplained. Thanks again for the feedback!

@velvetlobster We're so happy that you enjoyed the game! The opening cutscene is done by one of our wonderful artist, @devon-chan, he also helped develop the game lore and the player character. Thank you for playing our game!
