The characters are very nicely designed and the animations are cool Plz play our game
Super nice graphics and I really enjoyed figuring out the combos!
Cool game! Graphics are really good and animations were smooth.
Managed to get 60x multiplier on a next damage and killed the dude. (For some reason it was a very slow death) It was fun, but absolutely unintentional. I wish there was some sort of log with recently casted spells!
The graphics are awesome, the gameplay is maybe a bit too hard, give too much desire to just brute-force and keep trying random stuff!
Nice art, hard to figure out though.
I ultimately didn't understand much of what I was doing, but the animations are pretty and I won my first match haha Cool idea to have abilities be the result of combinations and that you then have to do with what you have and adapt. The guessing part I'm not sure if its meant to be guessing our possible combination results or guessing what the other summoner will do and thus attempt to counter it. Also the fact that it's real-time leads the player down the line of trying to brute force by simply doing as much as possible as quickly as possible, which might counteract what you're trying to do with the game.
Also, obvious feedback, but it would help you and your player greatly to have a description and screenshots of the game on here (LD page) and on itch.io :)
I really liked the graphics. However, I didn't figure out what the different combos were.
fun even if i don't understand the different combo
I think a game like this needs something on-screen that remembers the last few combinations you attempted and their effects. As soon as I cast something, I immediately forget what the combination was, so I have no hope in hell to make use of any of the information. Maybe it should remember the last 3 combos and their effects, and maybe you can click a combo so it isnt overwritten, like you have a 3-spell memory.
I wasn't really able to understand why certain effects were happening, but it was fun to throw together random spells and see what happens. As mentioned by others, more hints for the player would be good. I liked the graphics and the general feel of the game, and the little visual and mechanical effects for all the spells are very cool.
With so many types of cards it was hard to memorize combos. The graphics are great though.
Amazing graphics! The non-fullscreen html version doesn't show the whole game canvas. I wish there was some tutorial explaining what exactly to do and some turn history to go back to previous combos.
I could see that if this was paced and I was given more time, I would definitely start to reverse engineer these combos and I bet this game could get quite complicated. A really interesting mechanic, and a fun choice to not make it turn-based but real time. If you can crack a way to make the combos make sense and feel learned, then you've got something special here.
