Wow! How much work you managed to fit into 3 days. That's a huge amount of effort. During the game, error messages kept popping up when making selections, but it didn’t significantly interfere with playing. It was fun. Great job!

a very beautiful visual! insanely beautiful!! but unfortunately I'm not a fan of the style of the novel

yoruvii 2024-04-17 02:18

Love the art the music is atmospheric for a jam game this has a staggering amount of world building. the error messages were a little annoying but ignorable.

Just wow, the game is super

memz 2024-04-18 02:16

Although I'm not a fan of "choose your adventure" style stories, it was a well told story and the music really fit the mood. Well crafted, and something to be very proud of =)

Art is amazing, the dialog is great and intriguing. There is a small bug where i have the language set to English, but the options for the dialog are in Russian.

@greenradiation Thanks for your feedback! You could play our big update with the continuation of the story. Error notifications appear only on Ludum, nothing on itch.io.

@eddyr Thanks for your feedback! We’re glad you liked it! It's a shame that this happened with a bug.

Great visual novel! I liked trying to see different outcomes of the demon's deal, and the Skip feature was really nice in knowing when I'm seeing something new. The art is excellent and really pretty, it works well with the style. If you have more time later, it'd be cool to see this expanded with more scenarios or endings. Great job!

ryusui 2024-04-20 04:33

I'll start by saying "endless sodomy" does not quite paint the picture in my head that you intended. ^_^; Perhaps it should have been "endless depraved debauchery" instead?

I'm a little confused as to how the choices work. Are there different outcomes to each set? The old peasant convinced Raphael to help him, and lost his hands in exchange; the priest and king each failed to convince Raphael to help. I'd have liked it if it was clearer what kinds of outcomes different choices might lead to, especially given how replaying the game multiple times to see different sets of outcomes is non-trivial.

I might also suggest, as an extension of the above: as a game so reliant on its text, it really needed an editing pass by a native speaker. The last part of the game gets very confusing, switching erratically between a third-person ("Raphael") and second-person ("you") narration.

I really liked that I played as the evil demon. And not one that was secretly good, an objectively evil one! It's a perspective I've never seen before. The ost is also very good, fits the mood very well. Though, the first bgm when the demon is being introduced might be a little too overwhelming as it sot of sets a highpoint in the ost very early on.

The game immediately hooked me with its pleasant art style. The characters, backgrounds, and interface look incredibly aesthetically pleasing. The music is also good and accurately conveys the atmosphere of the game. The only disadvantages that I can highlight are an incomprehensible and strange mind reading system, periodically a glitch when textures do not load immediately and pixels on the screen and my own headache: THE SOUND OF THE KING'S COUGH. Why couldn't they make at least 2 different sounds? There is only one and is repeated every 2 sentences, it is not so difficult to add at least a second similar sound... But in general, given the short time frame in which the game was developed, the final result deserves attention, since there are developers who cannot even come close to their goal in 5 years the project has at least some clear form.

I really liked everything about this game! The vibes, the dark atmosphere, the illustrations, the dark theme, everything! It was a great experience and the artstyle was perfect for the type of story the game gives us as well as the sound design and the music. Great job!!

colinweiss 2024-04-22 05:20

Is this really done within 72 hours? This is too high quality......
