Good concept for the theme. The difficulty of the game is quite tough, but that can be fixed. I will waiting the expansion of this game's development.

Nice entry! The objective is a bit unclear, it would've helped a lot if the objects actually looked like a screwdriver etc. instead of the colored squares. Also, the "door key" squares share the same colors, which makes it even more confusing. It was also unclear to me whether touching the aliens deals damage. Sometimes the screen was shaking, sometimes not.

Once I found out what to do, it was nice trying to memorize the layout from run to run to get the items faster! Took me around 10 tries to finally beat the game!

Awesome little game you have made here! I really liked the pixel art especially the sprites animations. The music was simple but fit the game really well.

Movement and the shooting felt responsive and worked really great but there were some things that were a bit janky. The scaling in the amount of enemies was a bit insane making the game really difficult. This was not helped with some corridors being one way entries. Resulting in a static shootout with 10+ enemies.

The enemies also did quite often walk into walls and got stuck.

Some small things that once fixed could make this game a real gem! Great entry

The art style of this game was very well done, however, I did find this game quite confusing at first. I think what you need to do is to communicate to the player more about what he can or can't do. I walked over one of the oval circle things (my guess is you didn't have enough time to make all the assets), and nothing showed up on the checklist. I thought it was bugged or something but I had unknowingly opened a door to one of the items you need. This game could really benefit from more communication with the player, even something like signs where you were going could've been a very big help. In one of my runs, I thought I was exploring new territory when really I had gone a full circle and ended up back at the start. Another problem I encountered was the lack of challenge, and therefore a lack of fun. Really all you have to do to defeat the aliens is to hold left click and they all vanish before you. The aliens were more of a disturbance than an actual challenge. I'm not too sure how to combat this, but a difficulty curve wouldn't be the worst solution ever. I'm sure that these problems were due to the limited time of the event, and I'm sure you can implement these things if you were given unlimited time. Thanks, and have a good day! :) P.S. where was the fire? :(

Nice game! The first time I was wandering around I got hit by a laser from the dark. Really spooked me. The level design of the ship was good. Adding some sound effects when you got the keys would help with clarity. But overall was a pretty fun game!

I think this game shines in its level design and smoothness of controls. The darkness really sets the mood of the game! A few sound effects would have helped with providing feedback to the player and giving the whole a more polished feel - it sounded a bit strange when I failed and music played during the game over screen, but not in the game itself. Other than that, nice work!

Nice first attempt! A lot of things to polish, but was still pretty fun. I'm sure you had a list of things to finish, but the biggest things missing for me were some indicator of my health, and maybe some improvements to the enemy AI. I did really like the level design - reminded me of Among Us.
