You did a good job, I really liked the graphics! But I found it a little difficult to shoot the intruders accurately. I think it would be cool to add some laser scope or something that will help shooting

Really great art and the music is pretty cool, the background art is really really cool, the cute color palette makes the game pop so well and I was definitely jamming to the music.
Unfortunately it's not really playable? Grabbing asteroids was really inconsistent, I couldn't figure it out at all, and I'm not sure if you can win or lose? I got softlocked holding an asteroid I couldnt throw again after killing 10 or 12 aliens.
It would have been great to have a little bit of juice on the interactions to make them feel a bit nicer, explosions when enemies die, a sound when the player shoots or sucks an asteroid in, and some screenshake would be sweet!
Overall I think it's great looking and a really good concept for a game, it's unfortunate the gameplay wasn't quite there this time, but there's always another jam!
Wow! the movement is amazing! Very unusual! True, I haven’t figured out how to shoot in the game
Nice visuals and music.
The looped arena reminds me the retro game "tempest", but yours game has original shooting mechanic. good job!
Really enjoyed the graphics, the planets look really nice
Cool game with a lot of unique elements. Nice art and mood with the music that pulled the whole theme together. Sadly was a bit hard to play and I also got stuck with two asteroids glued to my gun without being able to fire them or attract new ones. Would love to see this concept expanded with moving planets and perhaps some gravity pulling the rocks in different directions.
@vadzim Thanks for the feedback! We had planned to add an aiming marker, but didn't have time to add it due to lack of time
@3mpty Thanks for such a detailed feedback!
We haven't had time to polish the mechanics, so gameplay contains bugs.
A lot of the above has been done: animations, sounds, effects. But, unfortunately, we didn't have time to implement everything in the game. But we want to finish this game after Jam
@nota-p-a Thanks for the feedback! Shooting is implemented similar to the gravity gun: you need to point at the meteorite and press and hold on the RMB, when the meteorite is attracted, you can release the RMB. To shoot you need to press LMB
@viwka Thank you, glad you liked it
@georgus Thank you! I haven't heard of this game, but will definitely look into it
@jens-g Thanks for the feedback! We originally planned to make the planets move. The alien ships were supposed to fly around them. But we had to abandon this idea because we couldn't adapt the pathfinding algorithm for moving objects. Then we made it so that the ships didn't collide with them, but we didn't have enough time to make them move, even though it's not difficult. Anyway, we'll try to do it after Jam
The game was really nice, I definitely enjoyed it. The art was interesting.. I liked the idea of having a 360° ish camera, it was quite creative and gave an interesting take on a classical game. Had to play it with a mouse though, my trackpad for some reason wouldn't work.
The game looks nice. Im not sure the theme is well met, but I get the idea so thats fine. Unfortunately the game isnt very playable. The meteorites are not shooting in predictable directions, and during my playthrough the gravgun startet pointing at my mouse and ended poiting 180° away from it, so something is wrong on that end, too. I also miss a real goal, as the enemies seem to just keep spawning and I didn't find any way to actually win the game, though that may be intentional. Due to the mentioned bugs, I had to abort eventually. If you fix the issues this can be a fun little game.
Very nice looking game! The art for everything is really good. However the controls are very finnicky and i could keep playing even tho the earth turned to dust
The core gameplay loop here is pretty fun, but for me, the experience was really affected by the bugginess of the interaction with asteroids. Each of my runs ended because asteroids kept getting stuck to my gravity gun and I couldn't shoot them anymore. I really enjoyed the sprite work and audio though, those were very nicely done! I also totally understand how hard it is to get a physics game working as expected in the bounds of a jam. Overall, I think this has some interesting ideas you could explore further, and for the most part, it's a working game, so well done! :tada:
Yo, cool game! Sound is great and the graphics are amazing! Didn't feel a lot of challenge though, the aliens fired quite slowly and I could move quite fast. But overall nice work!
Nice little game. I enjoyed audio and graphics, also going inside the the circle felt nice. Though asteroid grabbing is inconsisted and sometimes character threw asteroids left or right from cursor. Overall, nice little game, that could use some polishment.
Dang this game has some major potential. Art and colors were great. I like the movement restricted to just the circle. Good work!
Fun game, this idea is cool and the pixel art is nice!
The game is interesting, it was quite nice to play it, keep working on it and everything will be cool
Nice art!
