Cool art! Really nice work, Hey Fellow Godot user :D
Very good game ! I'm very impressed about what you managed to do in such a short deadline ! I loved the music and the game design, very well done. Jiji is so cute !!
Finished the game... lot of fun, despite a few freeze frame ! Well done with this riding cat !
Really nice game ! Some few freeze frame indeed and the physics go grazy sometime but it's still a wonderful de-tail :D to have 6 levels is impressive and the art is perfectly done, I had a fun time GG!
Loved the art and sound desing! Pretty good level design too (although I found level 6 a bit frustrating at the end, since there were no checkpoints). I also had a small issue with falling through the grind rail sometimes, but I only noticed this issue in the last level. Still, good job, it's a very good game! :)
Made to the end! I got some freezes mid-action, I suspect chunk loading/spawning lots of stuff at the same time.
The game is very forgiving, and that's good. I love the setting, the moody cat and the description of the mission.
Good job for one person!
Ok this is cool :) The one direction changer at the last levels top did fool me twice thou... the right one -.-
If you would add the possibility to derail downwards you can make more interesting levels I guess... Also maybe some tricks while jumping :P
Love the Music and the tail ;) Also very good Job on the menu part of things.
Coll idea and not bad execution. I think the cat could be much faster to better fit "skateboarding" motiff. The game would stutter for me a lot at the beginning of each level - perhaps some godot nodes loading for the first time (I'd check particle nodes first from experience). Collisions would also sometimes not register and I'd either fall from the map or not bounce on the piston-thingy.
Such a cute game! My two favorite aspects of it are that firstly, whenever you hit an obstacle or fall, it doesn't say "you died" or anything gloomy like that, but instead simply teleports you back to someplace and allows you to continue as if nothing happened (I would hate to accidentally "kill" a cat as cute as Jiji!). And secondly, I love the way the game offers you a variety of paths to follow (especially in level 6), makes it interesting!
very fun and original levels!
Really cute game! I would die for jiji. I do wish everything was just a bit faster though - respawning, moving, level transitions, etc. Still, great job!
Cute!
As others have mentioned, I do with the game played a bit faster. For a rail grinding game, I crave speed!
Good mix of rail designs, hazards, and interesting spaces. There was one section in level 2 or 3 where there's a semi-blind drop due to slow camera panning, but that's fairly forgivable since the cost of making mistakes is so low.
Loved the little narrative wrapping you gave it; nothing super intrusive, just a bit of narrative background for those who were interested.
Nice work!
Very cute game with a great mood. I love the purr after completing the levels and finishing the game, nice touch :)
"Time for Rest" I really felt that after level 6 lol. It got reeeally hard when the pace of skatercat was so slow and the jump was always shorter than i expected. I would have loved this game at a faster pace and more reliance on the accuracy of click duration for jumps. Because the pace was constant it made avoiding some obstacles very difficult so the resets were demoralizing lol. That being said this game is juicy with personality and i love style! i think the style just begs for higher pace and with the fun quirky animations and cattitude it could really amp everything up! Overall nice work especially for a solo gig, keep jammin!
This was great, the audio tracks were very good, and I particularly liked the dramatic shift between the menu and gameplay using the same motif. The graphics (especially the colors) were well done. The cats tail was nice and fluid (except when it isn't). My biggest issue with this game was the highest delivery on the last level, you have to do a jump into a bunch of spikes, and if they deploy before you can jump again it feels unfair (I also managed to clip through the right spring up there somehow). Thanks for making this!
