Simple but very cool game. The number of balloons was a tad bit haunting at times, so some difficulty scaling might be in order, but it's a game jam... balancing is a tough nut to crack.
Even so, it would have been really nice to see and endless mode, just going for as long as you can.
Overall I think it is a fine entry. I liked it.
It would be nice to see the score on the game over screen and to be able to play again. The airplane feels a bit slow compared to the baloons and the hitboxes seem to be very unforgiving. Also an indicator of the distance to the goal would be cool, so you know that it has a goal and is not infinitely generated. Other than that, the graphics are very clear on what everything means and that makes it really easy to understand the game from the start.
Very fun but also challenging I cant get passed 20
This is one of those very straightforward games you can pick up and immediately start having fun playing. I like that the balloons have different AI, it gives it more variety and makes it more replayable. It's pretty easy at first but gets difficult. Also, who is releasing all these evil balloons?! I feel like there is a villain origin story to be told about the balloons... ;)
