A social satire of the millennia was created in a Columbus dungeon. 3 men of all men went to work in the mines to bring to the almighty table this game of all eras. If this doesn't win game of the year Imma end it all (my marriage). Pong, Skyrim and now Spam Simulaotr. WOWEEE ZOO WEE MOMMA!!!!. 10 stars out of 5 laughs. WOWOWOWOWOWOWOW. FUCK!
Thoroughly enjoyed this game, and that's coming from a biiiig gamer. Good balance of hectic gameplay and comedic imagery/messages, and while getting gnomed may make me feel bad, its simply a skill issue. 10/10 MASTAPIECE
Started out slow, accidentally clicked a bunch of shit and got splooged all over my screen with gnomes, great game thank you for using your braincells to create this

Oh my goodness that got hectic. I genuinely became frazzled towards the end and the blue screen made me feel like I actually broke my computer. You really did capture the experience of being spammed and with a good sense of humor to boot. Well done!
The concept of mail-interface game is a blast, and qite a fun theme interpretation. Not sure about game sizy,.. I was told that it's not important and, or even less is better.. but hey, with big or at least normal-sized games, it's easier. ;) got some flashbacks from the blue-death ))) screen. And you have to add an aditinal bonus for spam detecting without opening mail itself.
This was great! I loves some of the spam emails, though I didn't take to time to read through them the whole way. There were probably a ton of jokes I missed because of the rush the game puts you in.
All around, good stuff. The 'viruses' were pretty amusing. I like the wizard that tells you when you get mail.

@makerart Thanks for your feedback! I really like the idea that you get a bonus from not opening an email. Also sorry about the file size. I think it's because we started with the URP blank project in Unity - we weren't sure exactly what we wanted to do in terms of the game, so I decided to make a URP project in case we wanted to do some fancy stuff. When we finally got knee-deep into the jam, it was already too late to fiddle around with moving stuff. I'd love to rebuild the project to reduce the file size, but I'm not sure if that would be breaking rules.

I enjoyed playing the game, I like that I can push myself to go faster if I want to which makes the game more enjoyable.

Amazing game you have here, which is quite good imo, especially as a first game jam. My favorite is the boot screen where is says size doesnt matter, with the gnome, it had me laughing!
But feedback wise, I don't think there is any I could give, as I can't think of anything to criticize

Great game, I'd like it if you had more incentive to read the emails you receive, as is you can get by simply viewing the header without actually examining the contents. When I did get a chance to read them through, lots of them were very funny! I'd like to see this expanded upon :)

Ahah this game is awesome and hilarous, bravo x) My only complaint is that during the time we read the header and the time we click, another mail can be received, making the player accept/deny the wrong mail.

@massena Thanks for your feedback! We actually had a discussion about how the emails should come into the inbox, and we ultimately decided that they should enter in from the top and push the older ones down. We felt that since that's what actual email clients do, the game should do it too. For the most part during our play testing, we liked this change as it added a bit of pressure once emails start rolling in, but we did see how it could be annoying. We had originally planned for a hotkey system - for example pressing DEL would trash the currently selected email - this would have alleviated the issue, but we ran out of time. If we ever get around to "finishing" the game adding hotkeys would one of the first things we do.
